I find it a little cheap that this new website is hosted by Godaddy. The others are not. You even get this godaddy error page when you type an invalid link (like www.rageofthegods.com/lala.jpg).

Also, the website is only registered for a year. All the others are registered for two or more.

And that rat picture on the papyrus is the exact same as the image in that wiki. This means cheap photoshop work.

And what's with the "Enter 6 Digit Cancel Code"? A viral site would probably not say that and let you find out yourself what should be entered (numbers, words or whatever), by giving clues.

Ok, it looks good and solid but it kind of tries too hard to fit in.

Now I'm guessing it's probably fake.

Although it has the same IP location as the slusho website, the slusho website was created almost 3 months later.

It would make sense if slusho came first, but the other way around just doesn't fit considering it links to it.

But on the wierd side, in the whois info, it's blank under "last updated".

also the person who posted it (from your source link) gives absolutely no detail on how he found it. This hints that he made it himself and is just trying to gamejack.

Also there doesn't seem to be a way to enter the actual code, so I'm guessing it's just a text box and the words "enter the code".

The reason i don't want to discredit is because there was no last update date, which means either it was never updated(meaning this is legit), or he hid it somehow, or maybe that it was not picked up by whois.

Either we got it too early, or its not real-- and since it was randomly found on a comment on a fan site, I'm vying for "not real"

Either way, its just not worth looking at. If its too early, we AIN'T getting that code. And if it is a hoax, well...

Wow, I'm an idiot. This is definitely OOG, this site was made 2 months before slusho..meaning that it couldn't have always linked to slusho.

Proven out of game, as I said, it was created 3 months before slusho. If it was updated, the person hid the update info on the whois. If he did that it means it probably wasn't always like so.

That cheap ass lens flare they added for some reason just screams OOG.

The person didn't check how it would look surrounded by a black page. And it looks really bad. It will soon probably be changed again.

yeah the only thing that looks similar is the -- at the top of my browser. thats what it shows on the 1-18-08 site too, probably not related.
