[OOG] About Rageofthegods.com

I happened upon this site via http://cloverfieldparasite.blogspot.com/. I began to wonder, after seeing Rageofthegods.com, what it all really meant. What the six digit code was, and if it really connected to the movie or not. I began searching for Japanese characters meaning Rat, and came up with an interesting conclusion. What we see up on the page isn't actually Japanese. It's Chinese.

The character closest to the Rat is most obviously, Rat. Or Shu, in Chinese third rising tone Mandarin. That almost came instantly as Shu is a very profound word and obviously, in 2008, will be quite discussed in the Chinese new year.

It was the character at the top that threw me off the most, I finally found it after scouring google for information and oddly enough, wikipedia saved the day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shen_(Chinese_%22spirit%3B_god%22)

What the top character is, is Shen, in 2nd rising tone Mandarin, meaning God, or Deity. Now what this has to do with the movie, I'll leave you guys to interpret because I truly have no clue to what the connection is. But i do hope this helps, and i hope no one posted this already because i didn't look in depth i really wanted to show you guys immediately.
