its not related theres no tie in so far every single server has tied into the last

I'm doubtful it's related to Halo, but I'm not ruling it out. Remember that the audio from the last server said we're "on our own" this time; that might mean our next leads won't come through the usual channels. Something like this might be a vector for the Fifth Server of legend.

People are arguing that they're not about Halo 3.

To me, they look like the Sentinels, or at least a new version. Also, there's a different on in the begining of the Dominican Republic with something on top, might be a periscope or someone observing.

Just speculation, but the handy cam shooting and incredibly realistic CG processing seems like the type of thing Blomkamp might have a hand in.
