I finally found it thanks to secondlife. It didn't show up anywhere in my google search or when I searched wordpress, with or without "". I'm not sure what I was doing wrong but oh well.

KITCHEN

the answering machine when played just keeps saying 9 over and over

the note next to the machine says look for the nines


LIVING ROOM

bottle on table gives you white wine

white wine whispers G'sundheit when you wear it

baby monitor says 9 over and over when touched

i went around taking pictures of everything of interest in the house and backyard. I did this because apparently we will be recieving some clues in and about this house.. so I took the pics as a sort of reference, or constant if you will.

I would suggest you guys do the same... it may take a while, but it really cant hurt..


Nines found in/around house:[/b]

Glowing "9" key on the Giant Keyboard(Teleports you to house)
Backgammon Dice
Newspaper on ground on the side of house


Inside:

Postit on kitchen counter : "Look for the Nines"
Answering Machine whispers Nines
Same newspaper as outside, next to the typewriter in the Living Room.
Baby Monitor whispers the same Nines as answering machine.


Other Things of Interest:

- The wine in the living room has the words: "1,2,3 suffe!" written above it.

- 10 Mousetraps total:
8 arranged in a warped rectangle on the kitchen/laundry room floor, 2 in a line in the upstairs hallway.

- The book on the Nightstand says:

New York Times Best Selling Author
Tad Williams
OTHERLAND
Final Volume
Sea of Silver Light

- There is a red floppy disk on the piano seat that has the word "KNOWING" written on it.

- There is a Biblical Painting in the living room (seems out of place?)

- Pictures of Pugs in the master bedroom

Ok thats pretty much anything interesting I found, if i left anything out, feel free to comment on it. I have pictures saved of everything I named above so if you need to see it, just ask.

I searched the magazines thoroughly, I even read as many pages as I could stand to, and I still think they dont have anything to do withh the Nines... theyre all about fashion for second life characters (clothes, skintones, skirts, etc)

Im gonna go back and check to see if anything has changed.. Feel free to respond if anythings wrong guys!!



EDIT: BTW my name in SL (Second Life) is "Smooth Taurog" and ill be the one wearing the medieval shirt with the party hat and orange cap gun!!! say hi to meee!!


EDIT2: Just in case people dont know, you can zoom in on things in the game by clicking on them and (while they are outlined in yellow) press shift+H. This allows you to focus up close on the object you selected.

To further zoom while focused on an object, press Ctrl+0. Keep pressing ctrl+0 to get closer and closer. Allow it a few seconds to get clearer (if you zoomed in on a book, magazine or anything else with text or pictures)

To get a bigger picture of your surroundings (zoom out) press Ctrl+8. This will allow you to see more of your surroundings in a panaramic view....

To return the camera to its normal zoom position (starting point), press Ctrl+9 (once).

To rotate an object you first need to focus on it (shift+h) and then hold down the Ctrl button. If you are doing it right, the cursor should become a small hand. Continue holding Ctrl and click and move the cursor/hand in the direction you want it to rotate.

This last one is particularly helpful because it allows you to read text that normally you would have to get into an awkward position to read (IF you can reach the position to read it, at all)

EDIT3: There appears to be something new in the house that wasnt there last time..

In the living room, on top of the dresser with all the drawers, theres:

A weird clock labeled "White Ball Clock"
Two candles
and...
A duplicate of the painting in the corner of the living room.

Two of the same paintings in the same room? Weird... and this clock isnt frozen, its moving according to what time it is in SL..

other than that, I dont see anything new..

just checked gabriel's blog and the post from the 9th starts off as Ambien, how I love thee. Let me count the ways. One, two, three — zzzzz not sure if it is connected to the bottle in the living room or not

The last time 9/9 fell on a Thursday was in 2004.

Using the 9th word technique didn't get me anywhere with anagrams.

hey guys i want to add the new puzzle as an attachment but it says it wont allow ,bmp files.. how can i fix this?

EDIT2: Hey this is just a thought.. but when I zoom in on the pic, and look at all the letters that land directly on the middle line, i get letters that anagram to:

orbitt

there is no orbitt.com so im stuck.. but I think I might be on the right track due to the "they gather on the nines" comment... the word gather got me thinkin this..




EDIT: New Stuff in the House... funny magazine in the living room, new table in the kitchen area, and most importantly, the THIRD CLUE is on the big couch, with another "Fortune" magazine..

guys I may be wrong, But im starting to think we should be looking for something other than the dates of everything...

it IS weird that they are all (mostly all) on August 26 but its even weirder why only two of them are NOT.. i think those may be the ones we need to look at.


Also, is there anything else that these all may have in common? I have yet to see but I really have looked that hard..
