 		[Update] Original Monster??
J.J. NEVER said "ORIGINAL"
I don't remember J.J. Abrams ever saying the monster was "original."

this is what he says and i quote

I won't give you that today, but! I will give you today . . come on. . please. . you really think we'd call it "Monstrous?" no. . um but! we have something for you we have these posters that we made that are really cool its a series of 4 posters that everyones gonna get, and I hope you like those too, I cant wait for january! you guys are the greatest, Thank you so much! this means that Cthulu can't really be ruled out or any american monster.

Just wanted to clear things up. There is no solid evidence that the monster is "original" in any way. seeing hollywood these days, nothing is "original" its usually movies based off of books or tv shows.

BUT there is the chance that the monster is original, not saying that it's not, but just stating the facts that J.J. Abrams NEVER said anything about an original monster. He did say "we need our own monster" though.

 		Jay-Jay WAS inspired by Godzilla, though. I'm expecting something like "The Host", or Zilla, but more awesome and squiddly-er.

I'll just say i still think its cthulu, its a giant squid. . here's a picture of its glory.

You are correct, but this board has a religious cult who've invented the dogma that he did say "original," and you don't bother religious folks with distractions like facts.

haha, that's true. I'll let you guys do your cult, but just throwing it out there, maybe to somehow convert you guys to my side of facts.

 		Rjet, Cthulhu attacked via tentacles, telekinesis, and his minions. I don't think he could be able to make an explosion that huge.

So, I suppose the monster might have flame-breath like the original Gojira.

cthulhu can do whatever he wants. but your probably right, nobody really knows what the monster is so I dunno man.

 		I'm the guy who created the best dessert in utah this year! I have a plaque because of it, so i totally have your creme brulee for ya haha.

not really sure about the cult support though.

 		Dessert is sufficient. Actually, the only requirement to join the cult is that cult member enjoy dessert. Belief in any specific monster, or anything else other than enjoying dessert, is optional.

So what was the award winning dessert in Utah?

 		you could even go as far as pulling in something like the chojin which destroyed because it didn't like the way things had turned out and wanted to start from scratch again (or something along those lines), at the moment it could be anything
