I think it's a little early to try and assign pro-and antagonist roles to our characters. While R.F. appears to play the part of the victim, we can't yet be sure who is responsible for what.

Something's bugging me.
The emails sent to you guys by Sammy, and even the one he wrote to R.F., in context, sound perfectly sane, but the pictures that Sammy sent R.F. don't seem friendly at all.
Why would he show them these?

OH and on a different note, and furthering my leaning toward a possible Dark Tower theme, R***** could spell out Roland (the name of the main character of the Dark Tower series)....

Yes, sartor, that was the hole in my theory, just stating it as a possibility.
I should add, though, that Randall Flagg was also known as Russel Faraday, Richard Fry, and other names starting with the letters, R. and F.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if Randall decided to take his nemesis' name.

And the Silent Hill thing was a shot in the dark involving the fact that the game was just announced on E3 not long before the blogspot entries
(personally I didn't expect it to be taken too seriously, but decided that it was another possibility).

I believe one of us should contact Samuel on what he may know about this "Greg".
Also Sam mentioned that he technically wasn't part of the Red King team.
So, here's the obvious question:
Who, then, was he?

I think we're all on the right track, more or less. RF is off his rocker or getting there PDQ, and we're here to help--somehow. Sammy may be a benefactor who is, however crudely, following a "shock" therapy approach, or he may be a malefactor intent on driving RF further down the wayward path. At any rate, Sammy is definitely providing more clues and I think the interesting part here is that Sammy is bringing us back to the original theme of this ARG, which is the Red King Project itself.

What I find particularly noteworthy, however, is Sammy's reference in one of the emails posted above to "the" Red King--is he implying that the Red King is, in fact, a person or entity of some sort and not just a fanciful name chosen in homage to Lewis Carrol's creation? I've asked him these questions among several others. I will post his responses, if any, when I get them.

EDIT/ the other questions I asked were about his knowledge of the RKP (which I expect a typically enigmatic answer to) and whether he is a physical therapist and if so, did he treat RF, etc...

R.F. mentions studies of feral children as his current project. Here is a link to information on the most well-known cases. I already looked at the pictures, and none i saw matched those posted by Sammy. We should probably look more into his current research though. If there are issues with his son (boy blue) from earlier, the child research may have something to do with it. It may also be that R.F. was feral as well. Shotgun approach, I know, but something may get hit.

Edit:
Red King is the test subject, maybe hidden away by the government when funding was mysteriously cut short due to special abilities. Also, maybe R.F. is Red King?
