Anyways, I'm thinking the monster is killed by some ironic twist of fate, or it just dies from some internal chemical reaction after decimating the city. Or maybe, after squishing NY, it just moves on to NJ, or something, and then the movie ends. Speculation at this point is useless, however...

I'm really hoping there won't be a sequel or cliffhanger ending, though.


I agree 100% that the monster will just move on. Maybe at the end a way will be discovered to kill the monster, but its wave of destruction will continue. This is a huge money maker for jj and co. and they will not end this with the monster's death. There has to be a sequal

 		Well I doubt the monster will be invincible so maybe heavy artillary could probably do a little damage if not a lot and if it doesn't who knows maybe the H-bomb

I personally think that dropping an H-Bomb smack dab in the middle of NYC would be a bit of a bad idea, no matter how nasty the monster is.

 		If there is no New York left, maybe an H-bomb is the only answer. If the ends justify the means, then its ok.

Don't know, but I think it would be the military...
unless the people from the trailer have access to
nukes or massive weapons...
I don't see how that's possible.
Especially if its a huge monster.
But, who knows...we still have to wait.

 		what i have read so far round sites is there may be more then one movie who know maybe its just turns back into a fish
