interesting myspace from Jamie's comments
Sorry if this has been touched on before - a quick search yielded nothing.

I first heard of this guys myspace on some Lost discussion forumthat I haven't been able to find it since.

The reason the guys on the Lost forum believed his myspace was worth looking into was because he left a comment on Jamie's myspace. It was their belief that the comments on the character myspace's were being filtered and therefore the people who did have their comments get through must hold some kind of importance. The things that made this Desmodeus guy in particular stand out were a couple pictures in his "iObject" photo album - iObject.

These photos included two of a Cthulhu action figure and one of a bookshelf with the tag "a hint at where it comes from" - Book Shelf.


I looked up some of the books on the shelf, several were about the Occult. Aliens, Superstitions and such. The one that stands out the most to me is Call to Cthulhu. Also, there is one called 2012 – for those who don't know 2012 is believed by some to be the year the world is destroyed – This particular 2012 novel is by Daniel Pinchbeck (it's full name being 2012: The Return of Quetzacoatl –Picture of Queztacoatl)

I realize that the fact that the monster is AT LEAST related to Cthulhu is not really news by any means, and that this doesn't really advance us in there game, but these could all be books that inspired JJ to create what he has created (if it is indeed an original monster) and therefore I feel like their might be something to be found in this myspace and maybe others. For instance, one book, entitled Birthdays, Stars and Numbers stresses the importance of certain days, constellations and numbers, etc. Perhaps in that book there's an entry for 1-18-08 with some sort of clue? Perhaps not. I haven't yet been able to find anything inside that book, but maybe someone else has it or can find it.

Again, if this has been mentioned before I sincerely apologize.

WELL.. regarding about the book 2012 20 + 12 = 32 which is 23 backwards. pretty crazy.

I'm not saying that all the comments are important, but the spec on the Lost forum was that most people who tried to comment on the character Myspaces never had their comments get through, therefore the people who were able to get through might hold some sort of importance. The comments themselves could be completely meaningless, but there could be clues somewhere in the Myspaces of the people who have commented that could move us along in this ARG.
