Easily mistakable for a real poster, the only think that sticks out as non professional is the flame. Work on your flames a bit Smile

i figured i'd put this here, i got bored and there's talk of people making posters so i gave it a go, it didnt come out quite the way i pictured it but its cool i guess. i'll make another one some other time thats better.

Heh, I had similar idea... however it had a more distant shot of the headless statue on NY1. Might still do it.

It's a nice idea though, the film grain's worked out nicely and I'm hard pressed to recall many teaser/full release posters that were styled to look like camera footage.

go for it make your own, i just realized something about mine. . .who the hell would be that close to the statue? whatever maybe its like all the things that are out of place in the real poster. i just looks cool

Well, maybe the monster is also filming the events to show his friends when he gets home. maybe that could be the sequel... you know, from the monsters perspective!! Twisted Evil

nice concept poster, while i will agree about the flames i will point you in the direction of a method for doing smoke which can be tweeked to do flames too. i have used this and similar methods in my day job. might be usesful to other poeple who want to have acrack.
