The search function is ass. I am pretty tired of people being rude to other people here for either not using it or not using according to how they THINK it should be used. People like...YOU.

It is people like you on these forums that ruin it more than the newcomers with your constant whining and bitching about things being discussed already. You are the one acting all high and mighty with your juvenile rant.

That is all that we are going to get for a while..repeating crap. There are still alot of people who are just now getting into this "game". For them a "new find" is new to them even though it may be very old to us.

People need to use more tact and just direct them to the appropriate area instead of jumping their case about it.

But where in the heck did Abrams say that it's an original monster we have never seen before? I have searched, and I can't find that quote coming from Abrams anywhere. It is up to the people making a claim to prove the claim, so that's what I'm asking for.

The reference thread says it's an original monster, and has a link to Abrams speaking at Comic Con. I thought for sure he would state that it's an original creation during that speech, since it's linked for reference to prove that very point, but he doesn't.

Does anyone have the quote where Abrams states this movie has an original creature? Anyone?

In his brief appearance in San Diego, he only mentions that he wants to create a monster for "us", our own. Not godzilla or king kong, who he thinks is "cute".

Never did he use the word original.
