The Nines
Cities

I still think it must have something to do with premier cities which would mean LA ... but is that any view of LA possibly? I have to agree that maybe we could use at least a small crumb ...

New HINT for puzzle 4

In the SL Nines House, check next to the TV.

there appears to be a picture of a matchbook, with the numbers

Quote:
9.991 99

as opposed to the puzzle four pic with the numbers:

Quote:
999 91

EDIT: Matchbox Numbers added as attachment below

JUST NOTICED: this may be nothing, but I just noticed that if you reverse the numbers of the matchbook pic, its the date:

9/9/1999

September 9th, 1999

and the city pic numbers reversed is:

19/9/99

September 19th, 1999

any significance?

Hey again (hehe outside of SL), How are you getting really great closeup pics? I can't seem to zoom in like that.

In the postcard puzzle is the third pic Denver, Colorado? It really looks like it to me...it just popped into my head.

What about the numbers being the beginning of coordinates or part of a new location on SL?\

Just putting it out there.

O'er mountain, hill and dale

could this be in reference to the three pics? meaning ones in the mountains (Denver), ones in the hills (San Fran?) and ones in a dale (???)?

I think its understood now that the fourth pic is Dublin in SL... due to peter newells convo...

1.) Position yourself close to the object you want to look at, but make sure your character isnt blocking it in any way.

2.) Right click on the object to highlight it, (this brings up the wheel of actions as I call it)

3.) Make sure the "chat" bar is closed. If closed, and the object highlighted, press and hold [shift+H]. This allows you to center in on the object.

4.) Next left click anywhere on the screen to remove the wheel of actions. You should have a clear screen now, with the object centered upon and no obstructions.

5.) press [ctrl+0] (Zoom IN) ..as many times as needed to get a good view.

6.) IF your picture is aimed a different way, or crooked and you wish to straighten it, move the cursor over the object, and hold the [ctrl] key. Your cursor should become a small hand (IF the object is rotatable). While holding the [ctrl] key, press and hold the left click and move the hand in the direction you wish to rotate the picture.
(it sounds alot harder than it really is, trust me)

7.) Once you have the desired angle, zoom. Snap away! The pictures you take will most likely be saved as .bmp files so you will have to resave them as .jpeg files in order to attach them to a UF post. (Jpeg is the most clear on UF)

8.) to return the zoom back to normal, or further away:

[ctrl+9] = return zoom to default
[ctrl+8] = zoom out as far as you wish

Hope this all helps!!

That's how I thought Denver ('o'er mountain')...plus it seemed almost the same pic as a postcard I seen from when my cousin went to Denver.

I took some pics of it...I update pretty much whenever I go on SL. Oh and note that for the newer photos the order is backwards, I fixed it and it started acting up.

Hey, I'm new. I just started doing the puzzles today.

I figured out that picture 3 is in LA, near the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

nice find! I was in the house last night didn't see anything new. the matchbook is really puzzling me. Maybe we have to use those numbers with the numbers from the postcard puzzle in some way. I tried using it as a grid reference but it didn't really help.

Pictures 1 and 2 are for sure The Sears tower in Chicago and the Empire State building in New York.

I haven't really been able tp figure much else out. I did find out that the person who runs Gabriel's Blog is Dr. Aaron Delwiche from Metaversatility.com AKA Carbonel Tigereye.

I know this because the "Problems with system clock" blog is a direct copy and paste from Aaron Delwiche' blog at http://delwiche.livejournal.com/

There are two buildings floating in the air underneath the big laptop with the blue button. I'm pretty sure they have nothing to do with the game, but here are the coordinates if you want to check them out:

Metaversatility / 64 / 215 / 399
Metaversatility / 99 / 55 / 258

Also, the word Suffe means "drowsy" in dutch.
