Would R.F. be willing to give out the subject's e-mail address?
I'd ask him, but I don't know for sure if it's a good time to.
And Samuel still hasn't replied my last email, so I guess he's told me all he can for the moment.

I inquired R.F. for the subject's email address.
If he really is keeping in touch with the subject, that shouldn't be a problem.
If it is, indeed, an impossibility, as Samuel said it would be, he may give us an email address that could help, whether he knows it or not.
Or he may just say that our subject declined to give out this information....

Things I noticed from the "Half Real" post:

We are continually seeing the following imagery:
green (green truck, pen, ink).
Black fluid is mentioned (also from car wreck).
Slushing noise (black fluid, water from car wreck).

Does the color green hold significance to R.F.?

Any thoughts?

One of the books he mentions finding in the squatter's shack "Johnny Got His Gun" has imagery similar to the way he said his wife's face looked in his hallucination.

I have an odd feeling that Greg won't be much different from R.F.
All of these people were victims, even Samuel was.
If Sam's right, Greg will be as unreliable as R.F.
Still, he could have something

EDIT: That yellowed note tells me that the squatter may have been involved in Red King and probably was trying to contact R.F. by camping out in a shack.
Either that or it was written by R.F. himself....
The experience is pretty bizarre. R.F. being chased by fingers and hands?
And the figure (the dream cop?) telling him not to go the way he went... That's not something a malign person would say....
Could this figure in the shack be good?

No that isn't the whole book! It's just the part about a man who has lost most of his face and is hooked up to a machine to stay alive. It sounds like the books and the notepad were not real anyway. According to the police (?) there had been nothing there besides bedding, a chair and a couple of cans of food.

This post is the most confusing so far. It would be nice to have the neighbor's account of what happened.

I hadn't thought about the figure being the dream cop. I don't know what to think.

wow, interesting post on the blog, about the adventure in the woods. i have only a few thoughts... really.

It seems that certain things (people?) trigger R.F's hallucinations. The man in the restarunt, the squatter etc. I wonder if there is someone, something or some organization that is controlling his hallucinations. I think it might be useful to know the company that backed the Red King Project and the company that is currently backing his latest project.

Also perhaps the 2 black and white images are related to his current research .

This all seems kind of like Silent Hill with two realities and R.F. can not control which realm he is in. I agree that perhaps these hallucinations are more real than R.F. or we think.

Maybe it means nothing but I think there's a possibility that Sam seeming less intelligent than RF might be important. He makes quite a few spelling and grammatical errors in his emails.

I agree we really can't make any conclusions about which versions to believe. If it truly is a big conspiracy theory, perhaps the memories of the neighbor wife and police could be manipulated as well

On another note does anyone know if Johnny Got his Gun was made into a movie and/or if clips were subsequently used in a Metallica video. The plot sounds suspicially like what I saw in the video. It was so disturbing I nearly cried
