[OT] Server rewards for the Rest of the World

A simple question, has anybody outside the US received the server rewards?

I thought I had helped unlock Server 02, maybe through user error, postal strikes or perhaps MS continuing to show that it has no love for the rest of the world, there is no package for me Crying or Very sad

In exactly the same position as you mate. Live in the UK and still no package for me. I helped unlock server 2.

I'll take your package for you! Laughing Or send it along for a nominal fee.

I guess that out of 500 people those of us outside of the USA are going to be few and far between, considering it was supposed to be a global marketing effort though, it still sucks.

Yeah it's true it sucks... and yeah I'm hoping that there will be something, but I mainly feel sorry for those that could have had something but didn't because people outside of the US took their places. They should have stopped it from happening really Laughing

I'm not getting my hopes up for any repayment though.

I would happily have gifted my reward to Unfiction, to be given away or auctioned, but of course if it were mentioned at the outset, that any material rewards weren't going to be sent over seas, it may have affected some peoples interest.

I unlocked server 2 and never got a package myself, but I live in the US. I think they might have run out of books or something.

Well, considering that it's common knowledge that each server had 100 keys, and thus 100 prizes per server had to be sent out...

That must be some uber-horrible planning on the PM's part. Let's hope there's a more sensible reason.

Well, some of the first set of packages had no gamer codes (mine.) And some of the people who received Server 2 packages didn't have signed books. So I'm not putting it past them at this point.

Phyltre, that makes me feel better, the fact that twenty MS teams where involved, seems highly likely that some of us fell through the cracks.

It would sure be nice if Microsoft would at least email the codes for the gamertag pictures to people who signed up on the servers. Then at least we could say that we were a part of the game, whether we actually entered a key or not. Considering that gamertag pics cost nothing and sending a mass emailing would be easy enough to do, I think that would be a way for MS to at least compensate for the lameness of this ARG.

I've been patiently waiting since unlocking Server 1. Sad No joy, alas; looks like the rewards were focused on the US only.

-- Steve's run into that before. Oh well.
