I think I figured it out, I think it has to do with a mathematical formula that has to do with a circle also the little bars in the lower left of the "eye" (which is above a holo projector btw) and I think if we matched up the bars and resized the glyph we may get something.
Also it looks like the Green samurai rangers morpher

I overlayed the J almost perfectly over the terminal. Nothing really showed up. I reversed it and tried it upside down. Still nothing that looked important. The only noticable thing was that the h (or a y I can't remember) intersected the center of the Iris symbol possibly forming a new symbol.

Either way I don't think theres much too it that we can interpret right now

Has anybody tried blowing out the contrast on the image, like they did to find the Schrodenger equation, and seeing if there's text encoded there?

If AR is the person in the transmissions which is basically confirmed, then he's a Forerunner. It adds up looking at what's available.

That last one kind of looks like Cortana is in the background. The bright spot in the middle is coming out of her face. Didn't one of the first halo 3 trailers have parts like that? I know Cortana was in one of them, but I don't remember if there was a flash.

I just watched the trailer I was talking about. The part with Cortana doesn't have a light but it does look like like when your getting a bad signal on TV. There are some flashes but it doesn't look like it could be the background for the trailer.
