Maybe More? (Magazine)
WIRED's magazine seems... mysterious

My laptop busted two day's ago, and so I missed the most recent hype... and am severely depressed...

However, I honestly believe this is not over by a long shot, especially when I got home to find a WIRED magazine with master cheif on the front. I saw multiple numbers randomly placed and my heart jumped...

206.16.223.63

40 KL

07

Installation 05

117

2401

343.00

Mark VI

888.778.5672

2552

and then this, in this form;

001
012
034
053

I'll have pictures soon I hope, unless someone else does... and I reading it as I speak, looking for more clues...

40 KL (40 kilometers)

07 (Bungie is obsessed with 7)

Installation 05 (Delta or Alpha Halo, one of the two)

117 (John-117, Master Chief)

2401 (2401 Penitent Tangent, the Monitor of Delta Halo)

343.00 (343 Guilty Spark, the Monitor of Alpha Halo)

Mark VI (MJOLNIR armor type)

888.778.5672 (FCC number)

2552 (The year Halo takes place in)

and then this, in this form;

001
012
034
053

(Those are... oh bugger, there's a reference in another thread, but it's nothing new.)

yes I was aware of most of that... though you seem o dismiss the 40 KL as if is old news... I'm not familiar with it... but nonetheless, if there' nothing, al well, jst thought I'd throw it out...

I wonder if 40 kl will be the length of the tsavo highway mission in halo 3? With all the recent press coverage and talk in the podcasts, it makes me think that might be relevant.

Unfortunately kl in terms of measurements, would refer to kiloliters.
Soooo.....
maybe it's the amount of alien blood spilled by Master chief in Halo 3 Dunno

*the average human has roughly 5 liters of blood. 40,000 kl of blood means 8000 bloody corpses Very Happy

Or kl refers to klicks, a military abbreviation for kilometer, which is what I thought.

We're not dealing with humans, my good sir. You can maintain steady turret fire at a dead grunt for hours and he'll still be spewing out blood Wink
