I know it's OOG. Why do you think I'm posting the translations here (seeing as this thread's subject IS about rageofthegods.com) instead of on any other Cloverfield-related topic, genius? Otherwise, I'd probably be all over the other boards typing away with mindless net-screamings of "OMG!!! its a rat and it changed there is numbers everwere teh movie is godzila figting a giant new york swer rat!!!" or something similarly idiotic.

You know, instead of taking the time to call me a "retard", why don't you make sure to verify what you've read before calling the person who posted it out?

How about this? Why not re-read my post and see if there's ANY note or word saying that the site is all about Cloverfield. Hmm? Did I say anything of the sort? I think not. Next time you're raring to call someone a "retard", try to make sure they're saying what you say they're saying before you say that they're saying what you say they're saying and that they're a retard for saying what you say they're saying on the board.

Go ahead. Take your time with that statement. Lord knows you're pretty literate, seeing as you so correctly read that I said this has everything to do with our dearly beloved *COUGHhatedCOUGH* Abrams project.

As for Nitsujest: Yeah, I know it's pretty much a dead-end. But I always have fun trying to see where other people are going with their sites. ^_^ Anyhow, the latest stuff on the page says, "Mothing is wiat it seems."

Yes, that's a literal translation. It's completely misspelled. Dan Quayle could've probably spelled circles around this mindjob.

Using the same number translation, this comes out as

MOTHING IS WIAT IT SEEMS

I'm assuming this reads NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS & there's a reason for the letter switch?

For some reason the N is an M in NOTHING and the H is an I in WHAT

Which would mean

M->N I->H.

Yomh? I googled it, it seems to be something. Yomh.com seems to do with yoga.

EDIT: Also, SHX seems to be a file extention. xD once again, stretching.

Sorry if i'm attempting to drag something dead, but it seems interesting. also, it has what looks like a date at the end, that isn't 1-18-08. could mean another debunking-ification.

Elvis: Understood, but it was posted under the "rageofthegods" sub-topic, so I understood this as "anything relevant to the rageofthegods.com site". No harm, I would hope. I just didn't appreciate the attempt someone took at calling me out for something I didn't say. The words 'what does it all mean' was not meant to be construed as 'does this mean Abrams' monster is a mutant Mickey Mouse'.

Nitsujest: LOL, yeah. I just want to know what it's all about. Probably someone's attempt at saying, "Look! I has a Cloverfield nooz site to!"

No, but it would be pointless to the main subject of this 1-18-08 thread. rageofthegods.com is OOG(OUT OF GAME). It is a GAMEJACK, to try to throw you off track. And it's done masterfully.

Any sites created after 7/3 have been proven to be OOG. The important part of the whois info for rageofthegods.com is as follows-

Let's note first that the site is registered to WILD WEST DOMAINS. Not Paramount.

Secondly- the site was created on3/18/07, a full 3 and a half months before the 1-18-08 trailer debuted on 7/03/07.

Further research within the whois info directs you to a long url that I'll condense here . This site reveals the same information, only in a more complete listing.

The point is- rageofthegods.com is out of game, it will continue to be out of game, and will never ever be in game no matter WHAT image/text/links they put on the site. I don't care if the site redirected to a site we've never seen that has a picture of JJ Abrams holding up a sign that says "rageofthegods.com is in game!", this site is dead, and further discussion of it is just keeping the players of this "game" from finding any sites that will further this experience. Please do not waste time on these obviously, and proven, OOG sites.

Ok it's probably nothing to do with "Cloverzilla Slush - Revenge of the slightly annoying parasite Zoom!" but it sure beats reading endless speculation based on guesswork. Razz

I'm sure the admins won't mind if you guys go to the time wasters section and discuss this there. But for now, this is a thread devoted to 1-18-08, and these discussions throw new people off the trail. Why not start a rageofthegods.com thread there?

I didn't even imply this was in-game. This is a topic about the website I posted about. Ok it was originally posted in relation to the cloverfield ARG (if it even IS a game!).

I'm not here to run anyone off. I'm letting this thread die, by my hands anyway, after this post. But if we keep discussing off topic subjects in here, if anything ever happens, it'll make it that much harder to find/work on. All I'm saying is, I won't be going to my fantasy football forums and discussing Honda engines, for example. We're just trying to keep an organized environment, that's all.
