[SPEC] re: Slusho theoryI have an idea
If the Jewish Armageddon is not used

For some reason I am tending to believe the Slusho theory as that one sounds the most realistic. So if that one is used, or any other one for that matter and not the Jewish Armageddon theory. I have thought of a story that has those monsters in it that includes a battle of good vs evil, God vs The Devil. I already have a jist of what is going to happen. Its ganna be cool

Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant, Wrestlemania 4.

Hulk Hogan said he was going to slam Andre so hard that the world would be sundered, and that Donald Trump should let go of his earthly possessions and climb onto Hogan's back to save his family. (Why he would climb onto his back when Hogan said he would backstroke is saved for the sequel.) This is the beginning of the movie. And the deep sea ingredient is, in fact, Andre the Giant's last meal which consisted of 87 hard boiled eggs, 213 pancakes, and a yorkshire terrier.

Interesting if true.

Armageddon is a major theme in the film.

isn't he saying that if leviathan, behemoth and ziz aren't used he has a cool movie idea including those three monsters?

seems like silly reason to start a thread, i'll give you that, but i doubt he would have found anywhere else a topic about him having an idea about a jewish armageddon movie.

maybe i misread his first post though.

Jewish Armageddon? Umm; Armageddon is the name of the field where the final battle occurs in the Christian apocalypse. There is no apocalyptic war, per se, in Jewish theology (though Jewish mythology does refer to a great fight between Leviathan and Behemoth, though that myth does not include the death of great numbers of people).

This whole "Armageddon" theory has been beaten to death several times. While it's no great stretch to see millenarian symbolism in just about every giant monster movie, and while the film may well deal with the end of the world (as we know it), there's absolutely nothing in the teaser, at slusho.jp/com, or on the myspace pages that suggests anything like that in any overt way, nor is it even implied.

While it's not a complete non-starter as the Voltron/Godzilla/Cthulhu nonsense (it's not a Japanese monster and Cthulhu is an immortal GOD who could easily squish everyone in Manhattan with a single thought), I could just as easily project something about Mary Poppins onto what we have and probably come up with at least as many "clues" to back it up as the "Armageddon" school of thought.

Isn't it time this thread was locked?
