Whether this is already heard or not

Along with the Jewish Armageddon (Which is the one I want to happen most out of all the theories) I have come up with a new theory along with the same friend.

SLUSHO is the key to everything. Rob works for the company that makes Slusho and he is going to Japan to promote the drink. However what people dont know about the drink is that it has these little parasites in the drink that after drinking the Slusho, the parasites enter the body. And those parasites attract a much larger monster that comes and attacks New York City.

There was more to it, but that is the jist of what I remember.

If this was already said in this forum, keep it to yourself because I dont really care. Me and my friend thought of this whole thing last night after analyzing the trailer and websites.

That's almost completely identical to the theory that used to be the 'main' theory on 1-18-08News.com, even down to the whole 'Rob's going off to work with Slusho' bit.
That's the exact same stuff!!1-18-08news.com is programing!

My theory is that Slusho isn't any more important than anything else.

What isn't a theory is that we need to play nice and, just as important, play smart, don't feed trolls.

What if... Slusho! is just a fake

All the theory I've read about possible connection between Slusho aren't so convincing, and I'm believe that in a "giant monster movie" there's no need to give plausible scientific explanation about a huge furious creature stomping on New York.
So, what if Slusho is just a fake site made by Rob (that works in marketing) as a degree thesis? A project due to demonstrate how a good marketing campaign could sell a brand about a non-existing product.
Thanks to that site Rob has been contacted by a Japanese company who offer him a very interesting job offer… and then the movie start

ahh..but Hawk says "I took the 'balls back to my apt, packed a bowl, chugged a Slusho, " in his A day in the life blog.

You are right, but consider that on the Slusho! site one of the old Slusho talk is: "I have to complement you on your beverage, which I sampled on a recent trip to Hokkaido! Very delicious! Please bring it to America soon!".
So it seems that Slusho is not avaible in USA.
Could possible that Slusho is a generic name used by Hawk for certain kind of beverage. A word that he use in his childhood and he still using, also as brand for his finctional brand Wink
Said that I'm the first who think that this theory is to much.

Perhaps Rob, if he's going to work for Slusho, has been given samples of the product which he kindly shares with his chums...

I'd pretty much hate it if the film was another "Evil organization turns consumers into montsers via soft drink" movie.
