R.F. answered the questions that we left in the comments but he didn't make a new post. He wants more questions for Greg, so if anyone can think of any please post them on the blog.

It seems like the answers we are getting aren't giving us a lot, but I will try to think of more questions.

i have no idea where to start with a question... other than something along the lines of "tell me everything you remember... from the begining."
i've shot off an email to samuel, asking about his opinion of greg and all that.

I thought of some more questions to ask and have posted them.

I have more questions for R.F. about the night with the squatter, but I want to wait until after Greg has answered questions to ask R.F. any more. I am looking forward to hearing about Greg's hallucinations to see how they compare to R.F.'s. From what I read in the meeting post, Greg's halluciations seem to be more like recovered memories of the project, so I guess more like dreams than halluciations.

ooo Greg's nightmare fits exactly with my earlier theory of people being near dead and hooked up to a machine. I'm thinkiing R.F and Greg are actually in that room as we speak.

Edit Just posted a comment in the blog hinting that part of the nightmare could be real experience but that I certainly hoped otherwise. I don't know how to suggest I think the man is a vegetable and I would never outright suggest such a thing without more evidence but I can't help but suspect our job is actually to uncover the truth and put an end to these folks suffering

hmmm, this is a little confusing, in the comments from the post titled "The End" R.F. said this about the subject when answering almijisti's comment -

Quote:
Medical history included a broken limb (leg, I believe) and concussion stemming from two separate, typical childhood accidents. I may be confusing him with another candidate on this next one, but I think he may also currently suffer from diabetes.

From his answer to almijisti's comment from "The Room" post he says this -

Quote:
From what I know, the subject did not have any type of diabetes

Well, he probably DID mistake the Red King for another candidate.

Maybe, but why would the main doctor's head rupture?
And how could R.F. have access to the internet? Scientists of that type wouldn't allow it at all, being that what they're doing is both unethical and I think illegal.
I'm not entirely sure that he's in the room now, but I am starting to think that he may have been in that room at one point....

I noticed this as well. At first I chalked it up to a typo of some type, but that's almost too big of a mistake to overlook. Could this be one of the gaps in R.F.'s memory that is occurring as he continues his blog?

I'd like to note that it was Greg who said that the Red King didn't have diabetes, not R.F.
R.F. said he MAY have, but wasn't entirely sure.
Seems that Greg is.

Thank you, I hadn't noticed that it was Greg answering the question. This is going to be really confusing for me with R.F. talking for Greg. Confused

Right. Now what sorts of things would lead one to think that someone has diabetes? Petit mal seizures? A strong desire for sugar?

I haven't gotten anything back from Sammy, though my last message to him didn't ask any questions (he seemed to be getting bothered by them). I was hoping, however, that he might comment on what I wrote--just stuff about how I trusted him now that his information has been largely confirmed. I did suggest that he tell me what I needed to do to help. Of course, even PMs need a break now and then.

Well, if you notice, R.F. said he may have confused the Red King for an earlier candidate for the project. I'm assuming that the earlier candidate had the type of diabetes that gave petit mal seizures and was rejected from the project for that reason.

And don't worry, waitress#2. R.F. said that Greg would be registering himself and posting in the comments sections to avoid confusion.

New post 08-20-07
The Hallucinations

Greg answered everyone's questions. I'm not satisfied with the reason they won't seek medical help but that's my problem. Smile
I really feel sorry for these people that were involved with this project.

Edit/Almijisti I don't think Sammy is necessarily tired of our questions, although I think yours really make him think. Smile He wiil reply when he gets around to it, and if he gets tired of them I don't think he'll be too shy to say so. Laughing

He might be trying to figure out who Greg is. I didn't ask him but I did let him know that R.F. had some information from a colleague from Toronto that R.F. referred to as Greg.

oops. Edit again. I don't think I read close enough once again. If Samuel is Sammy he's in trouble. Sad

New posting about Greg's hallucinations; before analysing that, I thought I'd upload this comparison between the vid-cap Greg gave RF and the point in the video that more or less corresponds to the time that image would have been redacted (assuming that the entire vid was not much longer than what we had).

I'm going to assume that SLP--Y means subject was asleep and that REM=Y means that he was in rapid eye movement phase. I'll further assume that CLR--32 means that the monitor could display 32 colors; don't know if SUB refers to subconscious (doubtful) or some other video-related thing since the information on the right seems to just have details about the video itself. The coordinates are not easy to explain, unless they refer to the placement of whatever probe or whatzit they used to plug into the Red King's brain. No idea about TST (probably "test" something).

I found it odd that RF said this vid-cap image was "off", and that he couldn't quite put his finger on what was wrong with it. Didn't he notice the face hovering above? The comparison speaks for itself with respect to the other differences.

I thought that's what he was talking about when he said that the machine was capable of producing that image. He did say that it was very, very odd. But he also said sort of off. It's a lot more off than sort of. Confused

Yeah... Thanks, Almijisti, for the scans. This is way off from what the video actually had. His hands are down, no longer defending, and he's looking away.
That face above the figure doesn't seem friendly at all, but something tells me the figure in the foreground isn't malevolent.

Also, Greg said that Sammy was back in town.... What does he mean by that?

It seems that each scientist is affected differently by whatever happened during the project. R.F. gets a new truck he's apparently had for years. Greg's had a cat for five years that doesn't exist and has few (if any) nightmares.

I think the scientists not wanting medical attention has something to do with how the project affected them.
It's affected their minds thus far, is it so farfetched that it would also affect their judgment as well, probably to its advantage?
