UPDATE: Melody's Research Group (4/13/04)

Melody's posted more findings during her Eugene trip. This message is about getting the police to come to the car in the marajuana field. Nothing of importance was found in the car, although she did get a sample of blood from inside.

After looking at the car, Melody sees a Native American girl looking at her. Melody finds out there is a small town nearby where the child lived at. Melody drives there and finds a community of Native Americans living. She compares it to an Amish community: no tv's, no cars, and trying to "hold on to the past". She tries to talk to some of the adults, but doesn't get anywhere. She mentions she wishes that Clarence was around to get the people talking.

One thing of note jumps out at me. Toward the end of the post, Melody makes this statement.
Quote:
OK, Ladies and Gentelmen, where do I go next? The police are no help, I have a group of people I can't communicate with, and we have a missing Krystal.

Wasn't there a link to an article about crystals in the Amboy news article that mentions Clarence is leaving? I tried to look it up this morning, but the website is down (more of the "this domain is parked" stuff). It might be something to check out if anyone remembers the site (or when the other sites come back).

Ok, after reading through this entire Aware forum, I finally found the link I was thinking of: http://www.crystalinks.com/cherokee.html

I read the article, but I don't think it helps me figure out anything new in this developing story. Maybe we're supposed to equate missing Krystal into the missing link in the circle of humanity? There is that new Native American angle in Melody's research, but I think I'm just grasping at straws.

Where is the Native American town Melody found?
I tried to find the location of the abandoned car, but she didn't specify it anywhere that I could see. I found Veneta and Roseburg, but I' ve looked for Native American locations nearby and haven't found anything promising.

HOw is Clarence going to help?

This may very well be an angle worth exploring... Not only is this Clarence Houston character we keep hearing about a Cherokee, but the puzzle used in the Krystal video here was made with the Cherokee Syllabry...
