Edit : grr ... I can't find a scanner right now, but I have deciphered the message. So, should I post the answer or wait until I can scan it to give everyone a chance at deciphering it first?

I say, go ahead and spoiler post the solve. You probably would have been the first to solve it anyway Wink

Just got an email from Adam Very Happy

What I can't figure out is if it's a new greeting (hallo/heylo thing) or it's the solution to the 1212 puzzle.

Quote:
Hallo. Hmmmm I like bacon..... If there is an a it's a b... then what you think would be 1 will be 2.....

So if 1=2, then 2=1...? I just got up so I might not be thinking straight. Need coffee... Razz

Ok, I'll still post this letter later when I get home if you want to have a go at it yourself. It was encrypted using
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the evil circle cipher from Torment! Fortunately, they didn't mess with the "turning", they just used straight substitution.
------
My grandfather is in grave danger. I have been doing some research and uncovered that he has been trying to expose the Bush administration on the subject of Nine Eleven. They believe he has substantial evidence to condemn both the American government and the British government on basis of conspiracy to gain political control over Middle Eastern territories. W
-----
I added the spaces and punctuation to make it easier. That last letter is either filler (since the cipher was grouped in sections of 5 letters, 3 groups per row) or its W for Worsley.
So you see now we know why they are after them, but still no clue as to where they are going.

Wow thats pretty heavy. And I will not even attempt to solve that lol Good solving!! So from that letter there is a few places he could be going, but I think we will find out when he gets there.

Or W for George W Bush? Razz

I now think that that "I like bacon" etc email is the clue to solving the 1212 thing. We're pretty close now.

EDIT: I'm stumped with the 1212 thing. I feel we're really close, but I can't get it.

So you really don't like 9/11? Razz

Well, nothing is happening and I'm getting really bored. Any progress on the 121212 puzzle? I've tried a bunch of things and I think I'm ready to give up Rolling Eyes
