Incidentally, the source codes of the main page and the history page, look more complicated than what we've seen so far, but I'm no expert.

Restorer's History Page http://www.therestorers.org/History.htm
Quote:
The Restorers© were started in 2002. Our founder, is an ex-Green-Beret with a military career spanning from 1985 – 2001. In a career that spanned 16 years, he fought on foreign soil to protect the freedoms that we sometimes, as Americans, take for granted. Our motto is simple. Protect what was given to us over 200 years ago. Protect our rights and fight for the ability to make our own decisions or mistakes as we see fit. We are Americans in the truest sense of the word. We believe that all Americans are entitled to believe what they wish, and to fight for those things we hold so dear, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Those are the ideals that our forefathers had and those are the ideals that should drive us to remain free and unencumbered by a Government that in some ways has forgotten what our forefathers had in mind. John Adams said it best when he wrote, "A constitution of government, once changed from freedom, can never be restored; liberty, once lost, is lost forever." Adams and all of the founders are watching us now and they know one truth that we must all relearn very quickly. The only way to make sure that government doesn't abuse its power is to not grant power in the first place.

Does anyone think it's strange that the Restorers use jellyfish for their background image on the history page? What do you think that means? A clue?
This link (http://www.eilertech.com/stories/jellyfish.htm) has the provocative quote which may relate:
"Why are we hunting jellyfish, anyway? Because these aren't just any jellyfish; these are mind-controlling alien jellyfish. And they've messed with my life more than once, so I've joined the hunt. And I go to one of the hunters' briefings, and take notes. What do we know about the jellyfish? I know from personal experience that these creatures fly, have electrical powers, communicate via electricity and telepathy, and like to hang out with terrorists."

I think the background is supposed to be parachutes. If you look closely, you can see the paratroopers below them. The biggest looks like a gray blob, the rest are black outlined in a dark gray.

It was linked to on Melody's blog site.
(BTW, I was kidding about the jellyfish, though it would be nice to see one of these militia groups with a sense of humor...)

Some of their files can be seen here . Also, on the history page, the word "Liberty" is indicated to be a city in the HTML. There are several towns named Liberty in the US, but the one in Illinois seems to be the most likely reference - it is in Adams County, and Tidwell quotes Adams on the History page and in the Amboy Monthly interview.

It's not more complicated, it's just Microsoft-ized, i.e. they created it in MS Word and did "Save as HTML".

From the source:
Quote:
Life, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Liberty</st1:City></st1:place>
So I gently ask the question..."Does that mean anything then?"

making my day Liberty City USA is the location of Grand Theft Auto 3 a PlayStation Game. How it fits in here I have no idea, but I can't believe that I am the first one to think of this connection.
