There has been a movie about Dagahra, albeit a Japanese one, not American. This is from Wikipedia:

So wouldn't that rule him out? Even though he's not a main character in that film (by the sounds of it), using him wouldn't be making "our own" monster. Although your theory is really good, and sounds totally plausible!

I don't think it rules him out just because he appeared in a Japanese movie. I get what people are thinking, but I think JJ has the freedom to use another monster (or create one heavily inspired by one) and give it the ol' American twist -like with what happened with Godzilla hitting NY and being a giant mutated Iguana or whatever rather than the true Godzilla from Japanese films.
DON'T REMIND ME!

I think the fact that this monster has appeared in a Godzilla film and was also considered to appear in Godzilla: Final War writes it off. If JJ wants this to be "our own monster" and have it have no relation to Godzilla, Dagahra wouldn't be the way to go.

Yea, I guess you're completely right... If JJ wants this to be "our own monster" and have no relation to Godzilla, then Dagahra wouldn't be it...

Now if only JJ had ever said his monster has absolutely no relation to Godzilla in any way...
And for the record, Dagahra appeared in a Mothra movie and was only considered for the Godzilla movie. Yea yea yea -I can hear ya already -Mothra is a part of the Godzilla universe, but if you'd read anything else on this thread, you'd realize I've spelled all this out for you and your argument is as effective pouring a cup of water into the ocean; laughable and ultimately just unnecessary.

And as far as I'm concerned, you might as well be using sign language to say you have no arms.

Concerning Rob's Adios t-shirt: I woke up late this morning and E!'s 40 More Crimes of Fashion was on. While sipping my coffee I noticed that some fashion guy named Brett Freedman was on there wearing Rob's favorite shirt.
I could not find any images online, but if it's like anything else on E!, it'll probably show all weekend, if anyone thinks they can get a picture of it (for proof).

I guess it's not IG.

It's on right now, and you're right - it's the same shirt. Excellent find! I guess that means no clues in the "Adios" shirt. Good eye!
