 [SPEC] Postcards
The postcards on www.1-18-08.com and their messages

Hey guys, I did do a search before writing this and I only found 2 posts so thought it might be worth a mention.

I know that you all know the postcards are there and how to handle them, however it's the messages written on the back that interest me the most.

Lascano, Platt and Robbie Jan 2008

Robbie.
Here, use this photo to send a message of my hotness far and wide!!!
I'm gonna miss the hell out of ya!!
Love, Jamie

In the first passage the letters in italics are smudged and in the second, the italics are the letters lighter than the rest. In all they give the letters ANDWSCARE.

I don't know if this has any relevence at all but I thought it might be worth a discussion as these letters may spell out a word that could be the next clue.

Lemmie know what ya think. Very Happy

was thinking along the same lines a little bit earlier today in this thread:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20865&start=15

which led me to : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incident_at_Loch_Ness

coincidence? hard to say.

maybe too early to tell.

Ya know I was looking at that site and noticed that it's all about a "mockumentry" all done with a handheld camera and it talks about the audience being conned

I saw Incident at Loch Ness on DVD, it was teh suck.
Really bad acting trying to get you to believe it was real & uncut footage from a film crew actually capturing nessie on tape. Crying or Very sad

I sincerely hope 1-18-08 is better. Very Happy

I apologize, I looked back at my earlier reply and realized I left out a few other details:

we used an anagram generator on: "...kes care" & "and W"

punching one of those results into GOOGLE I found that movie link as the first hit.

as reluctant as I am to admit it (due to the potential for public ridicule & humiliation that will come my way) at that moment I recall 1-18-08news mentioning in one of their "leaked" e-mails how the auditions were from a script for a very similar movie, and that once we figured out that movie many more clues would become evident.

Im not saying the tool that runs 1-18-08news is right, but even a monkey with a typewriter given billion years can punch out a logical sentence.

I admit I havent seen 'Incident at Loch Ness' (but did just add it to my netflix queue), but since I discovered that Wiki this morning I have been doing a bit of reading about it.

At least from a premise standpoint there are a few similarities which may put it past coincidence, and into intention.

food for thought anyway.

please post link

Please if you are going to ask someone to search before posting - post the link to the relevant, earlier discussion. Just asking someone to search isn't enough. I couldn't quickly find the place this was discussed before - or I would add the link myself.
Thanks.

OK, there is already a whole topic on the subject, not to mention a lot of scattered talk in earlier threads.
