First, my apologies... my YM blipped in the middle and I didn't catch the first part of our convo.

But the jist is: Sandy is the assistant at Ideltech. Her picture is on the Employment page of the website. The rest I just tried to be friendly and pepper him trying to pull out some info. Sandy is mailing out flyers with Krystal's pic to everyone.

Here's the rest in full glory. Is it just me, or does he seem a bit more scattered than he usually is/was? And he asked for my email addy, either he is slammed from all of us IM'ing him, or the Prof maybe deleted all of our information from the database. Summary: FBI is in Vegas looking for the Prof, Marcus says we shouldn't let the Prof know. Melody is semi-jealous of Sandy. Marcus got a strange ecard today from someone. Wants me to investigate it and a Yahoo group member request he got. I'll post the Yahoo group right after this post.

Equi: you mentioned earlier that Sandy was going to send out the missing person flyers to everyone.

Equi: As far as I know, I've witheld my home address (at least until the application process is finished). So, that would mean, I won't receive one. Will you be emailing some pics of Krystal out so we can keep a look out?
Equi: I saw one of her, in a blue shirt. Is that the only one we have to go on?
Equi: I have a friend who works with Project EDAN. So I was just curious...

Equi: oh. that's unfortunate. She was kind of elusive. and now even more so.
Equi: Got any contacts in Las Vegas?
Equi: That's where current intel places the Roddington.
marcusthesburg: FBI is on the prowl there
Equi: Wow... so some authorities finally decided to get involved?
Equi: That's good to hear. Have they checked there in Amboy at all? Or Eugene? Or Aloha? I'm just thinking out loud, since he may have left her behind.

Equi: yeah, that's very true. It's best that he doesn't know.
Equi: And the press? Have they been taken out of the picture? Often they can leak information and scare the person away as well.
marcusthesburg: I talked to melody, but she doesn't seem to care.
marcusthesburg: She is after her pulitzer and a chance to piss me off I think
Equi: Well, honestly, she's probably a bit jaded right now.
Equi: She'll probably calm down.
Equi: You've got a classic example of the difference between males and females there Marcus. Males tend to move on and face something new, and females can hold a grudge. We're much more emotionally driven.
Equi: And you guys have been friends since high school, right? so she should come around.

Equi: Maybe Sandy could talk to her?
Equi: And run interference for the two of you?

Interesting note -- one of the email addresses in Melody's list of contacts (for trying to track down the virus sender) is diariaa-subscribeSPLATyahoogroups.com.

 		Did you ever get to see the copy of the e-card? I went to hallmark's ecard site, and to receive ecards you need to email address of the recipient and the confirmation #. I was hoping that EG1131-149122-42061692 was the confirmation #, but I couldnt get it work with the email addresses of mthesburgSPLATideltech.com or marcusthesburgSPLAThotmail.com.

 		I got the e-card to work. Lucky me. It's from CHRISTINE!!!! mysterySPLATloveyou.com

It's a funny looking dog. It reads "Sending a little bit of love". The dog blows a kiss. Then it says "saving the rest to deliver in person". Dog bats eyelashes. Then at the end it says "Raoul? Is that you dearie?"

I did not send it.

 		The e-card worked for me too, its funny Smile
As far as I know, when sending this kind of ecards you can put whatever mail you want as "Sender", even a non-existant one...

Hehehe I used these cards for some fun in the high school Wink
