I've been listening to that damn thing over and over again because it just
sounds so Godzilla-ish to me now.

When I watched the trailer I never thought it sounded like Godzilla.
I still don't believe it's the big old boy, it's just unnerving.

Perhaps it's because I watched Gojira and Godzilla back to back today.

^ haha. Might have something to do with it :p

I dunno, im not sure if it sounds underwatery or not sounds kinda warbled where as i would expect the actual above-water roar to be almost colossal but i dunno, the trailer one was from far away and sounded like this - i just presumed up close (which this sound may not be) it would be a sound that made me feel i should squirm from underneath my bed.

It's possible other pages have been updated in a similar fashion. Anyone tried slusho yet?

I checked all the Slusho files and there are no changes, and no new files.

Has it been established yet exactly how long it takes for the roar to sound after you open up the site? It'd be interesting if it was exactly six minutes. Because, you know... six.

(I'd check myself but the sound's currently out on my machine.)

Everything I've seen/heard about this since the story first broke has said it is indeed six minutes, but not sure if anyone has timed it or just an assumption

Haha, I was reading the post about the fast moving thing at the end, and RIGHT at that moment, the roar started to play, to me it sounded like the roar from the end of the trailer

as for how long, im playing free bird and when i hear the roar ima look at the time

time is 6 minutes and around 6 seconds

i'd say exact time though is like, since there was maybe a 1-2 second delay when starting the song *not sure when timing really begins, but i started when picture outline appeared*, i'd say exact is 6:03 since freebird is paused at 6:01 and i estimate a 2 second lag for the page

The moment the outlines of the pictures appeared, I hit the start button
on the stopwatch.

I got exactly six minutes to beginning of the roar.

It is exactly SIX minutes.

The flash code specifies a wait time of 360000 milliseconds / 1000 = 360 seconds / 60 seconds per minute = SIX minutes!

Code:
setTimeout(this, "cont", 360000);
