umm blue whales are the largest reported animals on earth the right whales are smaller even says so on wiki

wow. pretty big. But, I think it would be ten times bigger.
Just because of the fact that it ripped off the SOLs head.
And what ever this is may be whale-like....
because it seems to have claws meaning it has arms and
can throw pretty far.
So, it's a whale-like creature? o_O

why is this hilarious to me...>_>
haha, no seriously.
We're either really close or JJ Abrams will be laughing his ass
off when he finds out people think its a whale. lol

didt meant to post right whale
ive got a lot of windows open

sorry about that, totally wrong link. Can't quite edit as a guest. >.<Ugh>.< Anyways it was a, supposed to be, extinct type of whale or fish that was twice as big as a megalodon. It would pretty much make you extremely nervous if it swam next to you.

Welll

I doubt that it is a prehistoric creature but if it is something to that size I'm all in as well.

honestly, I don't know what to make of this creature.
But, the prehistoric creature would fit into the line
"It's alive. It's huge!"
As it has been mentioned before...
we can only sit and wait. :-/

Anyone who thinks its a whale can join me on the moron list.
That would be dumb. It has claws... thats confirmed by the poster... meaning it has limbs.

That, and the Slusho site is not going to give a ton of references to whales if the creature is a whale.

Size of a whale maybe, related to a whale, possibly.

Feel free to think its a whale people, but when this film comes out, I am going to laugh at you.

Feel free to laugh at me when it turns out to be Finding Nemo 2: Whale Wars.

hahaha. I did make this pic as a joke, but I really do think it's gonna be some kind of whaleish monster, not a giant whale, but something whale-like. And I don't know about you guys but whales (not the shamu kind) are friggen scary as piss looking.

In case no one has posted this, the flash file that plays the roar is here:

decompliling it gives you sound1.mp3 and nothin else.

Sorry if im way late on this..

I did a search to see if anyone else had isolated the flash file. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the file that plays the roar? Or how you figured this out, SAT4N?

If the roar IS called vx, that's going to lead me to some interesting speculation.

Especially regarding the controlled release of tons of the nerve agent VX into the Delaware River (no, really: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VX_%28nerve_agent%29)

Quote:
A plan was developed to truck the hydrolysate from Indiana to the DuPont Chambers Works Secure Environmental Facility at Deepwater, NJ where it was to be further treated to destroy the phosphonate ester and the thiolamine, and dumped into the Delaware River.[4] ...

VX hydrolysis began on May 5 2005 and as of June 12 the facility had destroyed 2,894 US gallons (11 m³) of VX.

whale with limbs.

now I am disagreing with myself again! but on youtube there are pix of prehistoric whales with arms and legs! though they look more like alligators, but are classified as whales. maybe it is just a very very big version of these. after all whales DO have hip bones.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HJYNkwl7Ek

from photos_8.swf
Code:
var vx = this.createEmptyMovieClip("vx", this.getNextHighestDepth());
vx.loadMovie("vx.swf");

from vx.swf
Code:
// Action script...

// [Action in Frame 1]
function cont()
{
    play ();
} // End of the function
stop ();
var si = setTimeout(this, "cont", 360000);

// [Action in Frame 10]
stop ();

Whales evolved from clawed, dog-like creatures... But not likely. While a whale would be kinda creepy, I don't see how that would work.

I think you didn't read the posts well.
Whale-like...not an actual whale.
As I said that would be simply retarded.

Right about now I don't give a shit
what it is anymore...
I just want to see this damn movie already.
This is like not knowing what you're getting for Christmas...
it could be a really good or really bad surprise.
-_-
