[HUMOR][META] Things you are sick of already
with this movie....

I'm interested in what everyones qualms are as of now, as far as what we know about the film itself, and the hype/game/mystery...

I will start this list off with this...

People thinking J.J. Abrams has everything to do with this film... What is leaked, the movie making process itself, the clues, the roar, everything ...

Though I give him credit, he is only the producer.

He didn't write it, he didn't direct it. He is not sitting in his office coming up with clues and tricks. I'm sure he is a little busy working on the new Star Trek which he actually is producing AND directing. As much as a producer does, it's not as much as everyone is making it out, it's mainly just a financial contribution. No body talks about the director or writer ever...

Just my major annoyance so far. I got like twelve more, but I'll leave that to everyone else. What are you sick of already??

Its no coincidence (spelling) that LOST had an ARG then JJ's next project had a viral-marketing compaign that is extremely mysterious. Yeah he didnt do all of it, but Paramount know the target audience for this campaign would go crazy over Abrams, so thats why we only get info from Abrams. We love him.

the only thing I'm annoyed by is the whole secrecy surrounding the film.
I want to know what this -blanking- monster is already...
that way I can determine whether I want to waste my money and see it.

>_<

Not really sick of anything, just wondering whether or not they can keep the interest up all the way to January... I think they hurried to make the comic-con which might have been sort of a mistake...

haha. well, I'm going to wait until I hear good things about the movie first.
I've gone to see too many movies that I thought would be good and turned out seriously disappointed so now I wait....

so thanks to you guys...I'll lurk the boards until then.

XD

The secrecy is because of the $30 million budget. I'm assuming all that money is going into the film so they don't have much to advertise with. So we're doing it all for them.

And a damn good job we're doing too! Cool

And hell ya, based on that one teaser trailer alone you bet your ass mine will be on a cinema seat come 01-18-8. Razz

I can too... I think this movie has a bigger cult following than flicks people have seen already. It's insane... great, but insane.

that's how I feel. Well, not that I'd camp out for any movie.
o_O
But, I want to be certain its going to be kick ass...
trailer was...but many movies have had good trailers
and have been flops...

But, I'm pretty certain there will be some people
camping outside the theaters.
And of course I will laugh. >_>
