At what point does this sound play without going directly to the .swf and playing it?(right click out in the middle of the page and click "Play") It's nowhere on the main photo site that I'm aware of. There is significance to the fact that there is a flash file that does nothing more than play the sound of the roar. If I wanted to hear the roar, I could far more easily go to the trailer, play it, and skip to :33. The point is- on a site like 1-18-08.com, everything that exists there exists for a reason. No wasted space. There's significance to this vx.swf- we just haven't found out what it is, yet.

Which roar?

I don't think this is the first roar. It sounds the most like the third one.

VOX is Vocals.

It's not uncommon for Vx to be shorthand for vocals. At least in my recording experience.

VOX = Vocals.

VO = Voice Over

WX = Weather

TX = Transmitter

Six again?(SPEC)

Been lurking around for a few weeks trying to absorb as much info as I could before posting. (best to stay quite and be thought a fool then to opens ones mouth and prove it sorta thing ^_^)

Sorry if this is covered somewhere else but did a search and did find anything that covered this specifically

Maybe I'm looking the wrong direction but something is up with six so just going to throw some stuff out and see if some sticks

What if the roar itself is not important just the timing? I mean the 6 thing is about the only consistent clue we keep seeing. (Number of Robots, Slusho Slogan. etc..) Six minutes exactly, WAY to precise to be a coincident. Last party photo has a time stamp of 12:04 maybe the attack starts at 12:06? or six minutes after, so 12:10?

Anyone know the JP word for six?

Wasn't there an 80's Rock song about the end of the world and six minutes after midnight or something as well?

And since I am tired of banging my head aganst a well a bit of humor as well... My Canidate for the monster ^_- Since purple is the only major color not listed on the slusho page Grape must be the secret ingrediant So every one at Robs party is dricking GRAPE Slusho and GRAPE APE attacks!!!111! WAAARRRGGGG RUN FOR YOUR LIVES !!!!!!

VX in code

in the code for the update photos_8.swf vx appears in a few places. It is also used to stand for velocity in the photo flipping functions. There's vx and vy, or velocity in the x direction and in the y direction.
