 		Yeah this was definitely spoken by a non native. Like the Dr. said, some of the words aren't right, prolly net translated. I basically got what he said, it'sa bit tough.

It didn't sound like a native speaker to me either. There were some really rough inflections on certain parts or just a rough sound to it in general. However, I don't know French, I could be wrong. Smile

 		Man, I was hoping native speakers would make this easier. I assumed that the weird parts that some people can't figure out were just slang or some such thing. If its just a net transcription in the first place, we may need to dial 1-800-DROP-A-HINT and ask for Harley Wink

Edit : does the version of the sound file I posted make it any easier or is it still nonsensical?

 		The new version of the file maybe helps a bit. I got a new snippet

"rappeler ce jour rayonnant" translating to "remember that glowing day"


I think that the chances of re-translating this text to the original (if it was in English in the first place) are slim to none. The only hope is that somebody recognizes the first line of the poem (which I am pretty sure of): this comparison of love with a green tree and a steady sea is hopefully not that common.

I just recognized the code as base64 formatting and used an online converter. After it didn't produce anything, I just added the string to the end of the url and boom!

Her's is titled Indian Prayer, but that doesn't bring up a new site.
