Finally..! So on the page we get the binary which is already solved.

I think the answer to the password and username lies in the file number and release id at the eternal salvation page.

The problem is that it is unreadable.

Well, maybe I'm wrong..

EDIT:

I got a reply from Ty:

I'm fine--kind of you to ask. *You're* the one in trouble. Stay awayfrom the site--they're probably already tracking you. If you suddenlynotice a uptick in the number of Monks calling you out by name, I'dmove. Far away. Seriously. Can't write much--I'm trying to put info on the site for people, but ithas to be well hidden or their admins clean it off, so it takes somedigging. T

WAIT! I think i know what the password might be!

Now, when i enter the 3bm9n2 page, at the top of my browser it says : "The Title of Each is very important"

That leads me to believe the the password is possibly hidden in the cryptic title of each video!

Eh? Eeeeh?

yeah the videos on youtube are just titled "Video_One" to "Video_Ten" in Hex, so dont know about that

EDIT: Hey, people, for all important keys and passwords use spoilers, because someone just joinging may want to try it for themselves and its etiquette, I just remembered, so I'm doing it to mine.

Wait! (double post)

Now i think i know it!!!

What if its the title of each one of the SSF document thingies on the NothingTooSeeHere page? Maybe they translate to something? I think they may be Base64.

I might have it this time Very Happy

Has anyone tried the tags in the videos? They all change and it might lead us somewhere

heh, sorry, so I think when the site says "The title of each is very important" it could either be referring to

1. the names of each file/taking into account each name given
2. each person's "title" as in their position/ocupation in reference with the church or their job
3. the list of decoding methods given with the binary on the "Dennis Squalor" page on the main site

edit: the numbers do translate to something lol, its earlier in the thread i think. Here ya go shining.

Maybe we are all dead wrong.. Laughing

But in the the title of each is very important page it says the following:
Quote:
Books are binary. Open, closed. Black, white. Even Chapters can be made binary.

So, even chapters can be made binary?
What about the chapter I posted earlier?

The title of the first chapter is "No One Paid For Griveous Injury", maybe it's that or maybe I'm wrong.. Wink Can anyone change that into binary?

yeah, I'll look at that page and try to make something out of it.

edit: mmk, so in the "key" jpg on the sticky note, it says, "These are not the full chapter titles...The message is in the numbers."

and on the excerpt from the book, the first chapter, these numbers appear below the chapter title, 01110.

Im guessing we have to somehow view each page in the book with a new chapter title on it so we can somehow find a string of binary, and I'm sure that's where our password will be. I don't know if this means someone has to get the book or what, but if we come to some consensus i can go to the library and see if the rest of the chapter titles have numbers underneath them. Clever marketing Smile. make you get the book to solve the puzzle...

so what do you guys think?

edit2: btw, this is a review/synopsis of the book from amazon. Looks liek Cates was hired to kill Squalor...

Quote:
From Publishers Weekly
Somers packs his techno-thriller debut with enough gunplay and explosions to satisfy a Hollywood producer. Earth is now the System of Federated Nations, governed by the Joint Council and policed by local cops and the hard-nosed System Security Force (SSF). Most people are have-nots, struggling to get by through any means. Avery Cates is one of them, a respected 27-year-old bodyguard and assassin for hire working in Old New York. When Avery kills a cop by mistake, SSF chief Richard Marin hauls him in and gives him two choices: execution or taking on the Herculean task of assassinating the founder of the Electric Church, which creates converts by killing people and transplanting their brains into robot bodies that quash free will. The job would be a lot easier if Avery wasn't being hunted by a couple of cops who don't know when to quit. Somers's plot sprints along through the nicely detailed (if slightly unoriginal) world, but the characters are the real prize in this entertaining near-future noir. (Sept.)

Yes, I thought about the numbers below the title of the chapters and tried that as a password but nothing happened.

Maybe what you're saying is right... Or we should just keep poking around until we find the answer. But if you can get a copy that would be great!
