wow I feel dumb, i just got back, and the book doesnt come out until Sept 25th, which coincides with the press release, no wonder the press release date was in the future

anyone have any other ideas?

btw, I'll try magnifying the "key" image to try and see the case number and release id

Laughing Oh wow, that's awful. I too thought it had already come out, but no worries my friend we'll find the answer as soon as you analyze that pic.

I'm sure the answer lies there...

Allright people, so I looked and magnified the image, increased/decreased brightness/contrast, increase/decrease shadows, stretched it both ways and conclusively came to the idea that the small words at the top of the document are unreadable, the only part of the release id that is readable is "Mojo"

However I have much better news. I googled "an endless trail of sunsets," the motto on the key.jpg, and discovered two new blogs, so safe to say, I think we're up and running again Smile

here they are, and they kinda say the same thing so everyone needs to look at them. (btw, dates are alterable on blogs, so don't worry that it says two years ago, this is a current game)

Well something's something, I guess.

But we still need to find that password. More poking around.. Cool

EDIT:
You just found blogs of two characters that are in the first chapter Nad Muller, Avery Cates' friend.

And Muller's friend Kitlar Muan.

Nice Find! Vman. Very Happy

EDIT 2: I found another blog http://electricmonastery.blogspot.com/
It looks like this is where the monks post.[/u]

Are we blind as bats?

Well, the last blog I posted http://electricmonastery.blogspot.com/ has a e-mail.

I'll try sending an e-mail to see what's up.

So we can start by e-mailing there. Also my pc has really crappy speakers so can anyone write here what the 2 voice messages say?

yeah, i sent an email to them asking them to show me an endless trail of sunsets.

I'll post the convos hopefully tomorrow.

I thought there were more people working on this?

anyways, when you click on "Dennis Squalor" there's a list of decoding methods listed instead of the normal menus, we've used all the methods in order, and the next one is "binary binding" which I know nothing about, but it may refer to the youtube tags on the vids. anyone wanna research this?

I hope more people come, it would sure make things alot easier

so do you know anything about binary binding?

and I asked the chat monk what is the password and he said

"Once you make the laudible decision to become a monk, you will be given the password. Please review the site for clues to the mystery of salvation."

i dunno, i guess ill read the chapter exerpt now

edit: lola, i noticed in the chapter excerpt, every word that started with fl (with more than one syllable) had fl separated from the rest of the word, look at the excerpt, hit crtl + f and you'll see. I'll try to get all of the fl words and put them down here.

edit2: here all the separated fl words are

fl ushing
fl anked
fl ow
fl oated
fl imsy

allright, so to me its apparent that the password is somewhere in the codex. here's the link to the codex...

http://the-electric-church.com/mulquercodex.pdf

First you have to translate from binary, then from that you have to do a ROT13 translation to get words.

here's a handy translation website that you can translate binary, HEX, Base64, and DEC/CHAR from: http://www.paulschou.com/tools/xlate/

here's the ROT website, just type in the text you get from the binary translation: http://stackoverflow.org/tools/rot.html

I would post it Lola, but its like 546 pages long lol. Its long in binary, but it will be readable once translated. Here's how I was able to look at it.

google search "mulquer codex" and click on the first link, there will be a block of text and just click on "mulquer codex" in that block of text (I think its bolded), I think its somewhere near the beginning.

Ah, I see what you mean..
But this is the page you should have shown me..
http://the-electric-church.com/mulquercodex-06a.html
Which shows the following:

Quote:
The Mulquer Codex

The Mulquer Codex is the written foundation of The Electric Church, composed by Dennis Squalor. In it, the basic beliefs and statements of the Church are outlined, as is the conversion process in technical detail.

The Codex was composed shortly after Squalor performed the first conversion in The Electric Church's history, on himself, to prove that the concept was technologically viable, and to take that first essential leap of sfur7667u54--------<

[TRANSMISSION INTERRUPT]

In the middle of that it seems that Ty is hacking into the system saying that the book is useless and it make people convert to the church..
When the message finishes the page jumps to this page:
http://the-electric-church.com/mulquercodex-01.html

And then the page that you were posting... Vman, you should make a guide to how you got to a certain site so people (or I in this case) won't
get lost..

my bad, I'm new to this too, I guess when i find something I run with it. Do you think I should post a guide starting from the original website saying how I got to the point we are at now? or just from now on? By guide, you means steps I took and translations I used right? I can do that from now on if you'd like.

anyways, I translated the first ten pages of the codex because ten seemed like a good number and just encountered the end of the messaged at around page 9, because after that, it started to loop, thisis what I got:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Top Cat! The most effectual Top Cat! Who's intellectual close friends get to call him T.C., providing it's with dignity. Top Cat! The indisputable leader of the gang. He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship. He's the most tip top, Top Cat. Ulysses, Ulysses - Soaring through all the galaxies. In search of Earth, flying in to the night. Ulysses, Ulysses - Fighting evil and tyranny, with all his power, and with all of his might. Ulysses - no-one else can do the things you do. Ulysses - like a bolt of thunder from the blue. Ulysses - always fighting all the evil forces bringing peace and justice to all. Just the good ol' boys, never meanin' no harm. Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born. Straight'nin' the curve, flat'nin' the hills. Someday the mountain might get 'em, but the law never will. Makin' their way, the only way they know how, that's just a little bit more than the law will allow. Just good ol' boys, wouldn't change if they could, fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood. Knight Rider, a shadowy fight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless in a world of criminals who operate above the law. Ten years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem and no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-team. One for all and all for one, Muskehounds are always ready. One for all and all for one, helping everybody. One for all and all for one, it's a pretty story. Sharing everything with fun, that's the way to be. One for all and all for one, Muskehounds are always ready. One for all and all for one, helping everybody. One for all and all for one, can sound pretty corny. If you've got a problem chum, think how it could be. Hey there where ya goin', not exactly knowin', who says you have to call just one place home. He's goin' everywhere, B.J. McKay and his best friend Bear. He just keeps on movin', ladies keep improvin', every day is better than the last. New dreams and better scenes, and best of all I don't pay property tax. Rollin' down to Dallas, who's providin' my palace, off to New Orleans or who knows where. Places new and ladies, too, I'm B.J. McKay and this is my best friend Bear. Knight Rider, a shadowy fight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless in a world of criminals who operate above the law. 80 days around the world, we'll find a pot of gold just sitting where the rainbow's ending. Time - we'll fight against the time, and we'll fly on the white wings of the wind. 80 days around the world, no we won't say a word before the ship is really back. Round, round, all around the world. Round, all around the world. Round, all around the world. Round, all around the world. Thunder, thunder, thundercats, Ho! Thundercats are on the move, Thundercats are loose. Feel the magic, hear the roar, Thundercats are loose. Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thundercats! There's a voice that keeps on calling me. Down the road, that's where I'll always be. Every stop I make, I make a new friend. Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again. Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down, Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on. Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born. Straight'nin'

see the loop? wanna translate some more pages lola, or shall we wait until tomorrow?

edit: I'll save the codex and attach it here so people don't have to search for it.
