Use fire, from which they appeared from.

In the book post, it says:

Saloi-Asyai is the white flame. Flames of life and death. So the fire from the sword kills them, but one at a time would be bad. So to create a big fire, you need something flammable...

Fire would work, that is why they fear the sword. Problem, how do we make a big enough fire with out killing to not undead? Remember 28 days later... Fire in a bottle or grouping them together, and blowing up a gas station...
