Actually, I'm on page six right now.

I have a feeling this'll get to be a LOT longer than thirty pages, but that could just be wishful thinking.

Lola found www.the-electric-church.com

We argued for a bit as to whether it was an ARG or not, then if it was recent or not, then agreed that it was and was.

Lola noticed in the right upper corner "Verification Code" with an input box next to it, this is how she solved it,
"So I did the following, reading the homepage again, he mentions a lot of numbers he had 'one hundred' highlighted. I thought it was that, but of course not too easy.
So I picked each number giving me this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
9010012612652610001000000
."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We input that into the verification code box, and that led us to this site
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www.the-electric-church.com/data/nothing/tosee/here

I translated all the hex, and from top line down it says.

(above youtube video) There are ten videos in my account at youtube. This is number seven.

youtube video says: Zulu Foxtrot Yankee

(beneath youtube video) Why the radio? It comes in handy. Monks can't pick up old tech.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OOG= The "names" above are each links to an image or a sound file. We looked these over and couldn't find anything significant except for the document "key.jpg" which we are still keeping a close eye on.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We then emailed ty and squalor, and ty told us only to basically keep our heads down and that he had to encrypt a lot of the secret information we were finding so the church couldn't remove it. Squalor's email however, didn't work.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then, someone noticed that the youtube video in the nothingtoseehere page was only #7 of ten, so we looked at all ten videos.

We translated this into base64 and got the url

We are still stuck on the password, however, we googled "an endless trail of sunsets," the motto inscribed on the key.jpg image, and discovered three blogs. The first two being Avery Cates' (The Protagonist) friends and the third being the monks' blog, which happens to have two sound files on it, which are simulated voice messages.

First off, that isnt in my neighborhood..( mumble )people there and I'm in a workspace I dont know and that's a 25 grand bonus. Second these assholes have a reputation for stiffing people so I'm gonna need and up front fee. 15 thousand non refundable this shit is not negotiable too. contact (mumble) or i'm walking away got it? i gotta run i'm in the open here i havent slept in a while. i'll leave this in the usual spot although i'm not sure that server is totally trustworthy or not. you might wanna check that out see ya around soon.."

Also, we figured the "Mulquer Codex," practically the bible of the Electric Church might be useful in finding, since the link on the nothingtoseehere page didn't work

We googled searched "mulquer codex" and perhaps against the PM's wishes, a way to view the codex. The first link that appears,

http://the-electric-church.com/mulquercodex-06a.html

says:
Quote:
The Mulquer Codex

The Mulquer Codex is the written foundation of The Electric Church, composed by Dennis Squalor. In it, the basic beliefs and statements of the Church are outlined, as is the conversion process in technical detail.

The Codex was composed shortly after Squalor performed the first conversion in The Electric Church's history, on himself, to prove that the concept was technologically viable, and to take that first essential leap of sfur7667u54--------<

[TRANSMISSION INTERRUPT]

In the middle of that it seems that Ty is hacking into the system saying that the book is useless and it make people convert to the church..
When the message finishes the page jumps to this page:
http://the-electric-church.com/mulquercodex-01.html

Then you click on mulquer codex, the bolded words, and you get to

http://the-electric-church.com/mulquercodex.pdf

(Which has recently been taken down because I think we either found something we weren't supposed to, or found it out of its intended sequence)

Anyways, you can find the codex attached to a post on page 6.

We translated the first ten (at least) pages from binary into base64 into text and got

Thanks man! Now...this is some weird stuff you found.

And the page that disappeared? Can't tell if that was part of the ARG, or just taken down because the puppet master didn't realize how good you guys are at this, and you found it too early...

Either way...NICE FINDS!

And thanks a bunch!

Hmm... I'm going to try to screenshot the flash of binary on the main page to see if that's what was meant by the numbers being the password.

UPDATE:
Unfortunately the green binary on the squalor page is the word

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
madness

repeating itself over and over.

Even the binary that cuts short is just a fragment of above word.

Tried it as the password.
Nothin.

Yeah, we looked at that when we first saw the site, the thing you should really be looking at on the Dennis Squalor clickable page is the sequence of coding methods to the left, I think it may be in order, because it has seemed that way so far. The one we are on I think is "binary binding." Know anythign about it? Or am I just overthingking it and its another word for binary? Well, thatnks for coming Chronus we can use some more brain power. I've gotten kind of bored of the Red King project because nothing new has really happened. The only thing we can do is speculate and so far there's no methods of validating our theories, which is not the case with this game. Thats why I like it Smile

Yeah, it would be interesting to see if it was the same for everybody, I got 116 days 4 hours. I think what happens is either.

1. its the same for everybody

or

2. it logs your IP and keeps a constant counter for you that progresses in real time.

This looks fun...

I've been looking at this one, and I think I'll jump in now, seeing as Iris has ended and I'm pretty bored. So what are we currently trying to figure out?

Alright, i thought so. Oh, I also found something incredibly useful, there seems to be a lot of clues in binary and hex, so if you have Firefox, there's an extension called Leetkey, link here. It lets you encode and decode text while on a page, instead of copy/pasting it into a program.

I just clicked submit without posting anything.
