[Spec] Possible Plot?

So i was thinking of the new movie out, or coming out - im not really sure. Its called "the invasion", if your not familiar with it, it is...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
About a space shuttle that crashes down to earth after a mission on mars. Scientists then figure out that there is an alien virus contaminated in the shuttle, and after a while everyone gets infected

I also thought of Alien Vs. Preditor.
The aliens hatch themselves in humans, and them come out full grown aliens.

So i thought, slusho... It is "toxic" and you cant stop drinking them.

it infects people, and grows inside them.

when JJ Abrams says, its going to be scarier than anything seen before, this makes total sence - not just one monster, but thousands all infecting more people by the day.

I wouldn't rule it out, but there's no way to be sure of almost anything at this time.

And this theory has been suggested before

see, im just saying.

slusho is made from "an undersea special ingredient"

what if it is, persay, a type of undiscovered coral or somthing, that hasnt been tested in humans.

they put it in there,
people drink it,
it somehow interacts with human DNA, or somthing of the matter,
it produces a hybrid monster type thing

I don't want to see this turn into a zombie movie, though. There're enough of those franchises.

That's why I'm not buying into the "raptor-type" creatures theory either, because I personally hope that the focus is on one big huge monster "like we've never seen before".

I don't think the Slusho ingredient being ingested is an issue unto itself. At most I suspect it's just so appealing, maybe even addictive, that the product's demand is driving the need to prospect for the main ingredient. Being that this is from the bottom of the ocean, and signs point to the creature being from the bottom of the ocean, I'd say the ingredient is important to that creature or it's environs.

If the ingredient alone is enough to cause a mutation this movie would be set in Japan, wouldn't it? That's where Slusho comes from. Why would the first to be changed by the ingredient be in New York? Why would we need a monster big enough to tear up the SoL if Slusho is all it takes to create chaos?

Based on the hint of social commentary about climate change (unseasonably warm in January in NY), our abuse of the ocean's resources in the form of a deep sea mining operation for a pleasure indulgence, I think the vengeance of a creature from those same depths would be a very clever social commentary. Certainly a bit of irony there.

Ever since I saw the 'Slusho is People' on Happy Talk, the speculations about a deep sea monster and clues to the effect, and the deep sea ingredient, I've been reminded of an old Star Trek episode, Devil in the Dark, where miners are unwittingly destroying the eggs of the only local fauna.

Just think about it this way:
What do you do when ants find the sugar bowl?
