PMs For Murder Mystery ARG?

Lots of sci fi, lots of back from the future, lots of ancient mysteries, lots of strange beasts...and hardly anything with a good old fashioned whodunnit - howtheydunnit - criminal mischief sort of thing. Are there any PMs or PM Wannabes out there with an interest in this option?

Of course I got an idea Wink and it's entirely plausible it can succeed in spite of the "golden rule"....

1. won't cost a thing
2. 4-6 characters, lots of interaction
3. puzzles and creepy stuff
4. completely reasonable plot
5. dead bodies and a double mystery to solve
6. is replayable actually (with slight modification)
7. not a huge outlay investment of time or resources
8. can be serious, can be humorous, can be creepy, can be spooky, dramatic - it's open
9. not too complicated to put together
10. can make use of free services legitimately

But even if not this particular idea, I am still interested in feedback from you guys if anyone is interested in creating a whodunnit mystery arg...and if so, are ya? (hint) I know there have been a few who have asked if there are any....why is this 'genre' so neglected?

hey, I'd love to help but I don't know too much about this whole ARG business since I just got into it a few weeks ago.

I don't really see much I can do for you in terms of being an all-powerful PM, but I can aid in interactions and possibly being in pictures (like a dead person Cool ). If you're interested in utilizing my chatting forte for this, feel free to find me at:

Hey there. I've PMed a few low-scale games before. If you need help, I can do some puzzle design and writing if you need it.

PM me if you're interested.

I lots to do on my own game so I can't help you PM Sad , but i got some idea for a puzzle that don't fit into my game but may or may not fit into yours.

What type of Murder Mystery is it. i.e. Edwardian upper class, 30s gangster, Techno Thriller.

Any way if you PM and tell me more about I tell you a bit more about the puzzle. if you're interested?

What happens if the Players accuse the wrong person, sends that wrong person off to jail, get that person to be found guilty, and then see the innocent man executed, while the person who actually did the crime gets off scot-free and praises the Lord for such a miracle? Razz

Sure, I'm interested. Only good in interaction though.
