On the first page of this thread pegassissy mentioned that the origin of the
phrase "Always toward absent lovers love's tide stronger flows" was from the
Roman poet Sextus Propertius.

For what it's worth, Sextus translates to English as "Sixth" and though
Propertius has no apparent direct translation it sounds like it is from the
base "propio" which means "propietary."

So Sextus Propertius would roughly translate as "My Sixth" or "His Sixth."

/me mutters "I can't believe I'm doing this..."
