That was a good idea. I googled for any news stories, but that was a better approach.
Anne emailed me back

My son fancied himself a paranormal investigator. He
was going on about the Bermuda Triange before he left.

So we definitely know he went to investigate the Bermuda triangle and disappeared.

So he was was an amateur paranormal investigator with friends in some sort of cult and he disappeared apparently investigating the Bermuda Triangle. Interesting...

I emailed her as well. I asked for a personal decription, any known aquaitences and contact infromation, informaation known relating to his dissapearance and a copy of the missing person's report.
Told her I search for missing person's as a hobby/ volunteer work.

Now you come to mention that, i stumbled upon a site a couple of days ago about joining some weird cult, not sure if it's related. I'll scour through my browser history right now.
EDIT-- Ok I found the site, though it looks like something that happened in the past http://joinmycult.blogspot.com
Also found a MySpace profile for Annette Sinclair, it might not be her though http://www.myspace.com/victrola4224

Seems like a dumb website to post a "help search for my kid" request if you do not want to attract "cultish freaks" who think that God is communicating to them through IM and a blog!
i will keep an eye on this but i like the more puzzle oriented ARGs.

Hey, I'd love to get involved with this one! It's pretty interesting so far (and plus, I actually was able to see what was on Jesus's forehead before reading the second page of the thread, so that's like, a big achievement for me)
Here's a really obvious observation that I'm sure all of ya'll may have noticed: Bermuda and Atlantis both disappeared.
Maybe because Annette's son was searching for Bermuda, he secretly got transported to Atlantis.
OR
Maybe Atlantis is lmighty_gd's new secret base of choice. Perhaps it'll be where all his Seekers will end up meeting?
I don't know, but I'll IM lmighty_gd and see if I can get anything. If he does respond or is online, that'll be really crazy, since I've never talked to a character before!

Well I e-mailed Annette Sinclair saying that I wanted to help her find her son and I had reason to believe that her son was special somehow and that might be the reason behind his disappearance. I think I may have scared her because this was the response I got:

Are you one of his cultish freak friends? Go away.
Now that is interesting. Maybe you should reply something like: "You misunderstood me. I used to know him before he got involved with those nut jobs. He totally broke it off with me when he started hanging out with them, and I'm really worried."
Maybe that'll get her talking.
ETA - I sent her an email myself. I was more "on her side" than you were . Lets see if she talks.
