I emailed her as well, offering my services, and asking her several very detailed questions.
I also emailed lmghty_gd!

Annette's reply to my email
Quote:
He was there with his 'friend' Lucy. Why are you all so interested?

Oops sorry, I'm losing my head
Yeah, she seems pretty angry in the reply I got.
I told her that I knew she may have gotten a few emails and that I wanted to help her find her son. This is how she responded:
Quote:
A "few" emails, yes. Why do you insist on prying? I
don't think you really want to help, do you?
Now her email leaves me feeling kind of bad (she was the first character I've ever emailed, so I don't blame her if my email is a little too straightforward) but I think maybe I'll give it another go. Unfortunately, I'm going to sound undeniably whiny and pleading.

I took Het's advice and replied to Annette's e-mail telling her I was a former friend of her son's and wanted to help her out and this what I got.
Quote:
I don't remember anyone named Mike. Is Lucy sending
you all?

Okay, so what I've deduced so far is that Annette is a crochety old woman who will only accept help from people who seem genuinely interested.
I'm not a fan of her right now.
Missing son or not, she's really acerbic.

Well so far she doesn't seem reluctant to talk to me.

I don't get it.
skitz tried the "i was a friend!" angle
I tried the "I'm trying to be nice to you" angle
so far she doesn't seem to be opening up.

I e-mailed him (God Almighty). Waiting for a response. Can someone lighten the text on Jesus?
