Okay, but why the Jesus, if Atlantis was "Greek"? Unless God used it as his base? Is it another God?

Didn't lmghty_gd say the answer is in his name, or something?

Well, in his name, it's missing an a, an i, and an o as in almighty_god.

Also, what if the message on his head says "Atlanta", not "Atlantis"? I doubt the MySpace page found before is related, but the location is indeed Atlanta.

Just throwing things out there.

I emailed Annette yesterday saying I wanted to help her find her son, and asking for background info on him and he circumstances surrounding his death. I got this reply:

I'm not sure what to reply with now, since she doesn't really seem to want my help...

She seems to be dribbling out info. Annette doesn't seem willing to write more than a sentence or two at a time to me.

When asked what he was investigating.

I've just sent her an email, fingers crossed we get a positive reply and some more info. here is a transcript of the mail I sent

Dear Miss/Mrs Sinclair

It has been brought to my attention that you are looking for your missing son.

Let me assure you, I am here to help, this is not a hoax or me wasting your time. It is imperative to me as well that we find him, not just to find him but others that may be in peril as well, and also to bring the bad people to justice. If we can work together piecing things together we should find your son before it is too late.May I ask, if not too impertinant of me, your sons age now and what did he do for a living before he got into this paranormal nonsense? Please can you contact me as soon as possible so I can start my proceedings.
My Sincerest regards
Miss Kaiya K.

I'm in the midst of a back-and-forth with Annette. I'm trying to distance myself from the madness (she claims a bunch of weird nutjobs are spamming her).
If she gives me anything new, I'll let ya know.

I've been thinking along similiar lines. I don't know the book well, or the associated pseudohistory, but the authors of The Holy Blood, The Holy grail sued over the Da Vinci Code and were in the news a few years ago. I vaguely recall there are supposed to be connections between the Priory of Sion and Atlantis as well.

I sent Annette Sinclair an email- maybe we've not been asking for the correct information- maybe we need to try to seem legitimate(I really do want to find her son, maybe it'll take us farther in lmghty_gd Smile)

Quote:
Ms. Sinclair-

I would very much like to help you find your son. I know that you've said he was lost in the Bermuda- was he there on business, or for personal reasons? A friend told me he was with his friend Lucy- what was their relationship? What date was he lost, and what day did he arrive in Bermuda? I sorely want to help, but I need to know anything at all you can tell me to help you and your son. We will find him- no matter the lengths.

By God(no pun), we'll find this kid and anything else we need to know.

Might seem a bit of useless info here, but while sat working I was watching my messenger, Annette signs in, stays online for about a minute, then signs out, almost within a millisecond lmghty_gd signs in

One and the same person me thinks Razz Razz

welcome to the "rejected by annette" club Wink

Here's a wild guess: Annette's son is who lmghty_gd was referring to in his convo with Kaiya, because Kaiya asked if it was lmghty_gd's son we should be seeking. lmghty_gd said it wasn't his son, but it was his begotten's begotten, so that alludes to a mortal roaming the earth, and clearly, since Annette's son is missing...

I apologize if none of the above makes sense or if it is really circuitous.

Well I'm sorry for saying this but this is one I'm giving up on, I feel this a a wild goose chase and we're just all been played with, if it was a properly legit arg, it surely wouldn't be on a freewebs page. i just feel it's someone trying there hand at a personal arg, sorry if it's anyone here that's doing this, but this is just how I feel over this, I would rather not waste my time and put all my effort into the 'real' args

I can't say that I'm pulling out of this completely, but I agree with what Kaiya said. One of the characters is mean and pissy, which already puts me off. For another thing, everything does seem super scattered and we're all on a goose chase. I WAS into this, but now I'm not so sure.

Please don't let my opinions put any of you off,I didn't mean it that way, my previous post didn't intend to come across the way it did, it's just how I feel on this particular one.
The people that do carry on with this, good luck and all with your search
Very Happy

There have been "real" args that use free websites (*cough* Sammeeeees for example). A lot depends on the resources that would be utilized by the characters. If *I* were looking for help to find my lost son, I'd probably have a blog, a MySpace, post a video of him on YT, etc. I don't have the skills to make a dedicated webpage (paid site).

So, this is a grassroots ARG. There have been many fun, successful ones.

I am sorry for your frustration at this character. Remember to put yourself in her shoes. Did she post a public request for help? Or did all these messages just start showing up in her email unexpected/unrequested? Remember, she does not know that you guys share information in uF. So if you respond to something emailed to another player - how would you know about that?
