Encrypted Charr Battle Plans
Coded item found in Guild Wars...

A week or so back there was a Preview Weekend for Guild Wars: Eye of the North, and in this weekend I gota item called "Encrypted Charr Battle Plans" (Charr being a race of enemy in Guild Wars). It said 'double-click to read' but at the time did nothing, but now the game is out the item works, and it does indeed have encrypted text inside. Other people have found the item too, and there's a Guild Wiki page for it. Not all of them are the same, and they're not random as people have reported to get the same one (I have the same one as the picture on the Wiki page).

I tried ceaser on it, but it's 5AM and I'm gonna head to bed now, I just thought I'd post it here... because if anyone could figure it out it will be uF.

I'll post the text in a code box:
Code:
NGUELLY CHUQRS REWFD REA FDESASDS RESASDD
SADASD ASD JNYTH RDH JUNKLE HTHS SHGSH TRG
SGGSHR T FUG UDUFDU UDYUFW

I don't even know if it'll turn out to be anything, but I hope it's not random Very Happy

ROT again, to me. Meh... where the Hell is the ROT translator they're talking about?

But I don't think it's ROT.

Just from looking at the patterns and groupings the letters make on a keyboard, I'd guess that it's someone putting one hand on either side of the keyboard, mashing, then adding spaces at the end. Could be wrong, but it's what it looks like to me.

Sorry I'm late on this. No ROT, but there appears to be a pattern.

I'd go with that too.

Things like "FDESASDSRESASDDSADASDASD", A S D are next to each other on the keyboard. you can even see that those three letters repeat again again in the last bit I quoted, different order but just those letters:
ASDD
SAD
ASD
ASD

There's a theory going about in the game that it's actually Charr language. Have you tried taking the items to a Vanguard NPC?
