Is this what you're talking about?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I don't understand the significance. Confused
Edit/lol! it won't copy right for me either. Now it works. Smile

Edit/ lol! No it doesn't. There must be something in the code that won't let it display. Anyway, what is the significance?

Edit/Added spoiler tags, but I don't know why it's a spoiler.

The way I read it is the ads have been purposefully modified.

indeed... which, coincidentally, today Jeff Somers was talking about his java prowess, so it's really interesting to see that now we have a java based problem. He's a wily fellow. I wonder who all helps him with this stuff.

EDIT: Maybe this is nothing after all. Sad

That one is a little more detailed it seems and more focused towards pointing towards only korean sites but I can see how they compare. Both have changed the ads for their own purposes.

It's on alot of tripods. I think it is the code that brings in context oriented ads. It may be completly irrelevent. Until we get someone who can understand what it means, we may never know.

But what if the links don't mean anything, it is the context of the ads that matter?

They constantly change. There are about fifteen different ads I've seen now.

jesus people....this game is too fast paced for me....i go out and i come home to find two new pages of stuff that's way above my head on a good day. Now i'm to make sense of this with whiskey in the system?? Good night!

I'll try looking at stuff again tomorrow, but frankly, i think i've exhausted my creative brain power with the semacode thing...i'm basically only good for cracking jokes at this point.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet, but it might help somehow. I think we should all maybe take two pages of the codex and type the words out so we can all see them clearly and explain any discrepancies or text abnormalities we see, this way we can use all of our brainpower on all of the pages at once, and not just on the words we can offhandedly read. This might jsut make things easier for archiving purposes too.

Any volunteers?

I'll take the first two pages

(next posters take the next two and so on)

I'm out

I've got to say, this is getting disappointing. It was fun at first, when you discovered the page with all the various image files and things to sort through, but getting one password from two images that just takes you to another almost-blank screen where you get stuck again.. not so much fun.

Meh, its fun for me, I guess I just want to see where this ends up going, maybe we'll all get free books or something, who knows. Just stay along for the ride at least.

Also, did anyone post the codex as an attachment?
