if i remember right, in one of Ty's mails he stressed something like:

Go home. Its where the heart is.

so ive continued chatting with Barnaby-bot (the crazy bastard) and he goes through fits of incoherent off the cuff bot-isims & occaisional lucid in-game speak.

I was bugging him about the heart again (from a different tack) and he said it was in Portland, Maine.

I asked what was in portland, maine? He replied that was Dennis Squalor's place in the system.

the difficult part of chatting with barnaby-bot is sifting through all the pre-programmed bot-speak to determine what are actual bones the PM's are lobbing at us.

Edit: dunno how we got on the subject, but Barnaby-bot says he died at "time index 357241".

Actually, I'm not sure if it matters, but he says his heart is in Portland, Maine. not the sam for my and her heart. and he told me it was in Florida and California as well. mostly he says he's in the system.

That number reminded me of an unformatted Excel date, so I put that number in Excel and reformatted as date and it gave me 2/1/2878. *shrug*

Can you tell at this point I'm just throwing out anything and everything I can think of in the hopes something will 'hit'? Very Happy

I am doing the exact same thing. thats all we really can do for the time being, at least until it breaks free like it did last time.

That being said, I check Ty's "Book Crossing" page at least a couple times a day. so far, there's not been much change: http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/tykieth

of the 4 books he has released, apparently 3 have gone into the wild in the past 7 days. he isint updating his journal entries though. so theres no way of knowing where they are.

also on that page is 1 new member referral, which has also happened in the last 7 days. someone named "boodog06" from glendale arizona. no other info available on their bookshelf page except for age: 53. They are a new member, only since Sep 6th.

my guess is the brick wall we hit late last week is actually just a intentional roadblock so that the next series of puzzles/story can be set up.

I agree with n8ro that thats probably the case, which is funny in my mind, because they can't make stuff fast enough Smile. Everything they've given us has been solved extremely quick, except for that horrible tkieth login puzzle which I have no idea how we would have figured it out had Ty not helped us. The blogads on the weird barcode could also be a red herring, and the barcode having the relevant info. But with the semacode theory gone, I don't know what else to think at this point except for those same barcode looking things they have in real life that you can only see with red glasses. But I don't think its possible to make one on a computer screen. I have no idea, because I haven't seen anything noteworthy in any of the blogs, in word or ad.

I have to agree with you on that, it's driving me insane.

So what is the consensus everyone? They need more time to make more stuff for us to blaze through, or are we just stuck on a ridiculously vague jpg file?

There are a couple new posts on Jeff Somers' blog. In one he tells a commenter to e-mail Ty for info. Is 'Dragonsnake' someone on this site?

Maybe a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B.

good luck, I think they should actually give us a date sometime to be on the TEC main site, and have a live Bro Ajax to answer questions, that would be awesome IMO.

Haha, I knew good ol' jeffy knew what was going on, even when he feigned slight ignorance while at the same time being coy.

i think the barnabybot is a red herring. i get different answers for the same question alot. it seems that hes programed to give generic answers for things that begin with why.... or what..... getting any useful info out of him would be damn near impossible.
lets try and put everything we have that we havnt solved yet together here and see what comes out of it. any information that we have, that we havnt put to use yet

i.e. we know that "the heart is at the center of things"

what else?

edit:

i just got this from ty
Something's happening, but it looks like it's in the future.

i will give you the barnaby-bot is mostly useless, but im still clinging to the idea that if you ask the right question you will get something useful from it.

we know:
"home. its where the heart is"
we need to save someone (maybe avery cates)
the login to "the end is near friend" page is most likely a monk
(ive tried: nmuller, kmuan, bdawson, & dsqualor)

what else?

EDIT: actually I take that back, probably not Avery Cates that we need to save.

Ty said we would need the first password again.
