I remember the boys wearing it (I'm 32)! When I was in middle school and high school I LOVED that smell. Now it makes me gag a little. Same with Polo!

My mom wears Opium. Any time I smell it on someone else or in the store I think of her. When I really miss her (she lives in another state) I go to the department store and sniff samples of it. . .takes me home to Mama for just a little while.

It is weird how our memories can be connected to smells isn't it?

The cologne all the boys wore in my high school was Stetson! There was this guy who must have bathed in it daily! I remember all the girls wore Exclamation.

I like Beautiful by Estee Lauder. I haven't smelled Covet yet either. I can't wait to get my gift bag!

Love's BABY SOFT! My sister had some, she also had the blue and yellow ones, where they all the same stuff, or where there different scents? I can't remember, I think I was around 6 or 7 at the time (she's 6 years older than I am), and I remember thinking she was so lucky to have perfume and make-up!

Did any of the guys wear Cool Water? We could sort the guys out by scent. The cowboy guys (kickers) wore Stetson, the jocks wore Cool Water, Polo, Calvin Klein. The stoners smelled like, um, "natural" incense. Laughing Laughing

It was still 23-24 years ago... Wink Smile

I'm not rubbing it in, I'm trying to avoid the subject...not that I'm old, but it's really hard for me to deal with the fact that I'm more "adult". I hated turning 20, and I really hated turning 30...so just want to go back and be a kid again.

Have I mentioned I don't really like being a grown-up?

That is too funny! I have a hard time thinking of myself as an adult too! When anyone calls me maam half the time I don't know they are talking to me and I am 32!

Aprilapril - I'm just kidding! I absolutely love the ma'am comment too! I've gotten used to that one though. The first time you get it is the worst though. You don't even think they're talking to you Shocked

Oh goddess do I feel like I walked into the wrong room!

Seing as how I'm an old dyke I didn't get into perfume much. THIS is going to date me big time - one of my ex girlfriends liked me to wear something called Adolfo which was a men's cologne. But that's about it! I don't wear perfumes. I'm here for the mystery and intrigue! Laughing (SJP is pretty hot, too! Wink Not to mention I share her birthday! Very Happy )

As far as scent slamming memories back into one's mind, I do remember my grandmother wearing a couple of different perfumes: Evening in Paris and Emeraude.
The ex I mentioned earlier wore Jontue. I remember an old coworker back in the day absolutely loving Cinnabar.

<<<<<<<<<<< I'm going to head back over there now and hide behind my Waffle Stompers and Star Wars poster.

jfinbar, i just turned 41, so we share those same popular scents. LovesBabySoft at 10 or 11 (got it for Christmas one year along with my first Shawn Cassidy album hahahah)

All the popular guys had Chaps.

I think I may have bonded too much with LovesBabySoft though.. my scent preference is still now for the sweet florals.

In college I found White Shoulders. I still wear it today but have to be sure to wear it in ultra faint amounts.

Wolf, get out from back there.. this "room" needs you!

Congrats to all the winners so far, this has really been so much fun, I too look forward to monday nights at 10pm when I get the clue! Keep on keepin on!

Wolf!!!

Hey, wolf...do get yourself back here...we'll stop the girly-girl stuff soon...much sooner if they'd post a clue... Laughing Laughing and we'll certainly need you then!

I still like Adolfo! Awesome scent!

Yeah, I might like perfume in pretty bottles and all, but I'm still the lone geeky girl hanging out at the game shop on Friday nights and loving every minute of it,,,

SO, I'm here for the game, too!
