[SPEC] pic_2.swf numbers on the wall? Not sure if I'm going crazy or I'm already there but has anyone else noticed numbers on the wall in http://www.1-18-08.com/images/pic_2.swf ? They're between "WE'LL" and "MISS" and it appears to be 6 or so numbers. Looks to be a 5 5 29 25. I thought about this for a while but IMHO identifying 1 or 2 numbers in an image like this would be just a coincidence, but seeing 3 - 4 or more grouped together, well that's something else.
I searched the forum and found nothing related to this.
Like I said though, maybe I'm just crazy.

I personally see 5-E-5 1918
And for those wondering, he's talking about the faint symbols on the poster itself in between the middle words, right above the fist.
Yes, you can see something.

Here's a pic of the numbers.

I wrote on them to make them stand out a bit. Look at this image then look at the original and you should be able to see them.
Then again, crazy....

I tinkered with some levels and stuff..
I definitely can see SOMETHING.
I think it's a phonenumber, actually. 555-0925.

A 555 number would be useless, it's a dummy prefix with the only valid number using that prefix being 555-1212 (information). I don't see any reason they'd put a dummy number in the pics for us, we certainly couldn't use it. Often in movies anymore, they use real numbers the studio sets up with some sort of clever tie-in or marketing.

generally, my thought was that it WAS an in-movie number, hence the 555. Maybe the idea was not for us to call the number In Real Life, but instead, later we get that same number in another reference in game and we're just supposed to match it?

Letters? Perhaps they're not numbers, but letters. Inverse becuase they're written on the back. Just a thought cant't make anything usefull of s's and q's though.

i actually see a mirror image of "35" or maybe"36" but only those two numbers ... they are rather big too. Does anyone else see this?

I was thinking that any marks are very likely that, and that it's just an incidental artifact of it being a reused banner from something else.

Something's definitely there, but this just doesn't seem to be the kind of clue that tends towards much edification in this game. There's no hacker behind the scenes, no mole trying to get a message across, not yet anyhow. Everything seems pretty surfacey so far.
I don't mean to be a discouraging, especially when we clearly need new discoveries, but I think the kind of discoveries that will help will be working with the surface of the game, not trying to dig down beneath it. (Again, not yet, at least.) There's just no in-game reason at this point to look for such craftily hidden messages.[/strike]
