Someone messaged me to ask if the new mods are characters in the story now.
This is a good question.
The answer is no. The new mods are there to help "run" the forum. We don't have any behind-the-scenes role or extra knowledge about the game. We are just players who were asked to help moderate the forum.

You aren't the only one.
We also need a short chronology of the major points of the story.

I thought that's what the timeline on the wiki was for?

The timeline has been done
The timeline is actually pretty informative. I'm trying to do my part and input as much information into the wiki. Mapmaker did a good job of tearing Lucky5 down and explaining it very well in the forum. So I tore his posts apart, reworded it and placed it into the wiki (with his permission of course!)
EDIT: was trying to type at the same time as talk and watch tv. didn't go well.[/strike]

Totally already did it. Although... it's in the format of a story from the start, and it's 8 pages long and from my point of view. I'll post it when I get the chance.

<---Pwn3d the wiki, took a deep breath, and am fixing the stuff i screwed up.
Also, just to keep it clear, from the way they've set this up, we're all "characters in the story" and instead of being sidekicks (like in most args) where we help the main characters solve problems, we're the main characters (is my understanding).

All the players are characters in a sense I guess. I didn't want there to be any confusion that the mods are BTS people or PMs who shouldn't be posting to unfiction. Or that we know anything more than anyone else.
A summary will be fantastic!

Well, here's my version. It is longer because it tries to tell it like a story, telling not only what happened but I also attempted to get in why and when. If I have any details wrong, by all means let me know and I'll fix it. I wasn't around for the whole adventure.

GREAT synopsis, Dav! I really like it (and hope it helps new members to the Sentries).
I noticed a couple of details that I thought I might point out.
1. Sinyx is female (I believe) so the line "He shared the information with the other Recruits and Sentries" should have an "S" in front of it
2. Before Kevin told us of his infection, BA dreamed and posted about it in Craigslist (IP address via Roman Numerals)
3. The photos of the storage room ritual were not only emailed to Sapagoo, but hacked and uploaded to johnny5's server where the rest of the contents were stored.
4. Howard promoted
5
6 New Sentries (not 4).
Other than that, it looks great!

Fixed, although I didn't edit the online version.
And yes, this was intended for newbies, such as a friend of mine who I just explained how this works and may have gotten him interested. So if I get questions tomorrow I'll know I didn't do it perfectly. :p

Hrm, and what was Howard's reasoning? Oh yea:

Themagician = Bryce = Sidtheduck (because we need someone to run the server who we can trust with all those passwords)
I hope those passwords don't contain any of those newfangled numbers...
(sorry, just being a fiery critic )

Howard only THINKS he promoted new sentries. We are all figments of the PMs imaginations. None of us exists outside the Eldritch Errors. We are "Six Characters in Search of an Author." Which means the PMs have imagined us all as Italians.
Figure THAT one out!
