All kidding aside, that really gives some insight (if it truly is a voice - it's very eerie, nonetheless), as to what the monster is (or was before it became a monster). Let's just say that it is a voice - that means that this monster possesses a level of intelligence that will make it a much more difficult force to be reckoned with, as opposed to the more animalistic nature of monsters like Godzilla and others. It's reason for doing what it's doing is more concrete, more purposeful and harder to fight, unless you know who it was before it became the monster (again, if that is the case). That's even more frightening to consider, especially if it's seeking revenge. You take a crazed, jilted girlfriend or boyfriend (perhaps Teddy really does love Jamie, but he found out that she cheated on him, pissing him off), add some type of mutation, increase their size (Monstrous), rage (Furious) and strength exponentially (Terrifying), and set them loose to get back at their unfaithful ex, well, you get the picture. It's hard enough to deal with normal-sized crazy people....

That's some scary shite right there..... Shocked

 		If it is a voice, the most likely explanation is that it's Noriko looking for Ganu, right? Noriko became something big and monstrous, and then Ganu's team disturbed something...

...or whatever. In any case, IF there's a voice in the roar, and IF the monster is looking for someone, I don't think it would be looking for one of the "Slusho Seven", i.e., Rob & Co. From what we know about them so far (from myspace, etc.), they seem to be very average, if not stereotypical, 20-somethings/hipsters, and nothing more.

Anyway, I don't even think there's a voice there - I mean, I hear what everyone is talking about, but I think hearing a voice in the roar is on a par with seeing a monster in the smoke (from the trailer).

But, my point is just that it would be hard to believe the monster is looking for Rob, Jamie, Beth, Hud, Hawk, or Lena. May as well have the monster looking for Joey or Chandler from "Friends."

I thought about a "Noriko-whaleoid" searching for Ganu angle, too...and it would make sense from a bad sci-fi movie stance...

...that could also still fit into the Monster deliberately attacking Rob's party scenario if Ganu Yoshida just happens to turn out to be the Asian dude at the party's sushi bar....

For the life of me, I can't remember where I saw it -- but someone had early on confirmed that Kelvin Yu (Chinese) was the actor playing Asian Guy...

...but then, Hollywood would NEVER get a Chinese actor to portray a Japanese character. Wink
