With respect to all of Jamie's attempts at poetry, it seems like her "I miss you like the sky misses the flowers... or is it the stars miss the sky?" is at least consistent with the title of her blog post "Always toward absent lovers love's tide stronger flows" so maybe she IS just a goober trying to be romantic but sounding lame.

I also looked up the "always toward absent lovers love's tide stronger flows" - someone already posted that this phrase was created by the Roman poet Sextus Propertius in his Elegies and essentially means "absence makes the heart grow fonder" - but I wanted to find it in its original context to see if maybe the next part of the poem was relevant. However, if you look in the Elegies (at least those English translations available on the internet) this phrase doesn't appear as she quoted it, it's more like "Passion is often greater in absent lovers: endless presence is lowering for the man who's always around." I think the relevant passage is Book II, XXXIII if anyone cares to check. I seriously doubt this Jamie character is reading Elegies, though, so I'm probably reading too much into this.

 		I feel like trailer girl really is Blake Lively, as people have been saying from the beginning, but she may have been cast in the movie prior to her being cast as a main character in the "Gossip Girl" series that premieres tonight.

She most likely chose to remain with "Gossip Girl" rather than "1-18-08" because she's aware GG should be a smash, whereas this movie dear to our heart is only interesting to people who have enough time to investigate the online viral marketing.

 		Okay, let me add MORE fuel to the "same character/different actress" fire!

Yeah, I'm leaning more towards the theory that "Rob's awesome" Girl is *supposed* to be Jamie --- if it's a different character, she sure as hell seems to be a twin of Lil' Lascano, anyway...

And, while on the subject of different actresses/same role being annoying as hell: anybody notice that Lizzie Caplan *definitely* looks different from pic to pic on her Myspace page? The blondish "version" of her looks almost NOTHING like the frizzy-haired "What is this for?" chick from the trailer, or her "olive-eyed" avatar pic on Myspace...

....and then there's that weird pic of her "right before she switched faces with Nicolas Cage"....

...are some of the characters going through plastic surgery, either in-story or in real life...???

Hey guys,

Do you guys know anything about this FTP message "you are number ... of .. allowed" ?
Does it mean there are that many user connected through FTP with that page/webspace?

when i tried to connect to www.jamieandteddy.com by FTP i was user 11.

John Lennon's "Dear Yoko" has the following line in it:

"I miss you like the sun don't shine"

Similar to Jamie's quote from the video. The interesting connection is that Yoko Ono was born in Tokyo and now lives in New York...another Japan/NYC connection. Lennon also killed in NYC. Maybe the location he was shot has some significance?

Or worse, maybe Yoko Ono is the monster! Shocked

Not necessarily. Was it 2:32 in your timezone when you tried to log in? Smile Even if it was, there's 24 time zones(right?). I know that when I'm on the net at 8:27 am, HetMasteen is on in Israel at 2:27 pm. Where is the server? Where are the people trying to get connected at??

That'd be the Dakota which stands on Central Park West, not far from Tavern on the Green (and also the apartment building from the first Ghostbusters movie, but that's not related to this story):
