Deus City Wiki at DEUSCITY.DESPOILER.ORG (new location) Help Create the New Wiki! MASSIVE MAJOR EDIT:
Since SpaceBass and Despoiler.org rock, we now have a new host for the wiki. Since my hosting company does NOT rock, we do not have the last eight months of wiki editing.
So if you're bored and have nothing to do, add some stuff! Go at it. Have fun. It's what Foo/Brackin/the future would want you to do if they could know the site existed.
-----------------
I created a Wiki for the game...I figure if the game picks up after the current lull it might become useful.
Here's the link... http://deuscitywiki.caffeinedrip.com/wiki
I'm currently porting over content from the forums.

awesome initiative Gordian.
Can't wait until there's more content on it (I can help you port over some of the forum information if you want to, just drop me a line, and I'll try and work on it once I get home 7-8 hours from now)
PS. For an american you work odd hours... unless ofcourse you are in japan.

I should have most of the stuff ported over by then, although there will probably be some glaring holes in some of the areas (especially the Timeline and Story So Far).
And yeah...I'm in Japan.

Cool, that means you're in the future!
If we play this right we can be millionaires, you tell me the result of major sporting competitions and I go bet on them at various bookies. Seeing as you are 7 hours into the future from me, you can communicate the result of the match back in time to me, and I'll bet before it even starts. This can't fail!

Perhaps you should create a new card for WGTCP. I'll take one! I'll help bet, too!
Nice work on the wiki, notgordian.

The wiki is now adjusted to create a space for tCotSA stuff too. Feel free to add wherever and whenever you see fit.
Also, PLEASE feel free to add and/or make changes to the Story So Far section. There's a lot of stuff to cover there, and my coverage gets shoddier as time goes on.
Adding a link here to a Google Spreadsheet of all the accounts so far and their status. click here . Contact me and I'll get you collaborator access if you want it.

Wiki Down: Data Probably Lost Hey everybody....
Some of you may have noticed the wiki's been down for a week or three. As far as I can reckon, a few weeks ago my webhost had a problem with their database(s) and my hosting plan no longer recognizes or connects to the database. That means it can't load the wiki. I've been trying to contact the company for a little over a week with no luck...but there's a distinct possibility all the great work you guys put into the wiki has been lost, because I neglected to set the wiki up to backup (stupid mistake, but this was my first experiment in wiki creation)
So: I'm going to keep trying to see if I can recover it. If I can't reach my hosting company by Monday (and I'm not mentioning their name because I don't want to drag them through the mud until they well and truly screw me over) I'll contact Despoiler and see about setting one up over there.
Long story short: sorry guys, this was an amateur mistake, but I'm still learning this stuff. Luckily almost all the information is still in these threads...it's just not as organized as one might hope.
Unless of course somebody's a wiki wizard and would know how to diagnose what the problem is at the moment.
UPDATE: Thanks to some help from new player manda, I've determined that the MySQL was somehow switched to a Postgres database without any action on my part. It's now that much more important to get a hold of my hosting company to remedy the situation. Chances of salvaging something have just slightly increased.

Thanks for letting us know gord. I was beginning to think you had just disappeared on us! There aren't very many of us early joiners left!
Good luck with restoring the wiki. And thanks, manda!

Yeah, they're not getting back to me. I'll write Despoiler to see if they'd be willing to put up a wiki.
EDIT: SpaceBass said we should have one up and running later today...if anybody was wondering, I stole the template for the wiki from BrianEnigma's Vanishing Point wiki. Oh, and I'm assuming the PMs will extend permission to host their IP on the new site.

The wiki at deuscitywiki.caffeinedrip.com is now restored--I think it'd still be ideal to port what we have over to the despoiler wiki, but no need to reinvent the wheel!

I did a little bit of editing to the Union page and also included a speculatory page for Reclamation 103037 since even I do not actually know what is going to happen then. I also posted the text to the 2007 Deus ex Machinae Manifesto.
