 		SPEC - Joe Palser: Just got a gut feeling
I was riding over to my sister's place tonight, idly mulling over the Palser angle, when it hit me:

He used a fake ID to get the green van. Question is, why would he need a fake ID for his own name?

At my sis' now, but I'm gonna look into this tomorrow.

He's gone over the deep end out of reality. Real name but all other information is fake. If it's a fake ID, would you then assume the name is fake and stop looking for Joe Palser???

Possibly... I'm also entertaining the possibility that this is identity theft. Someone else who's hijacked the identity of Joseph Palser.

It's spec, definitely, but still possible.

 		Maybe it's something simple, like the guy's license was revoked. It wasn't just identification he needed, it was driving credentials, too.

Or am I missing something that caused you to believe this is more significant than it appears to me?

This is pretty much just a hunch I had, and it's looking more and more like a longshot.
